Tbf, shill streams are always a big target for it in general too because there tend to be a ton more tourists than usual.
Here is her last Shadowverse promo stream and Ina's recent promo stream. Don't think that is what is going on here...

For once, I do think this will just blow over eventually. Nothing compared to rushia tier now. It only because its fresh and this was the next stream she had.

I say give it 1 to 2 weeks and everyone would have forgotten.

Newest HoloGra, Haachama included, love that girl (not that I don't love the other girls., there's room in my heart for all of them corpo or indie, but still).

How accurate is that extension? Because honestly i don't think these extensions are very accurate.
It makes assumptions based on those people who installed this extension. So it's not particularly accurate.

Coco saved that gen, imagine seething about internet issues and blaming the streamer. Love that HoloX just laughed at La+ being so inept at streaming over wifi (very Kayfabe considering her character). After gen 3 the "Idol-ness" of Hololive got out of hand so Coco bringing the chill again was nice. Plus Watame is a hardcore streamer, always awake at night which was great for Asacoco. If you want blue chip return on your membership/support choose someone like Watame as she always mentions her members and backers when she puts out songs or concerts.

These three are a top parasocial trio for Hololive - maybe mass-social is a better term as they talk up their audience, not "viewers"
She's definitely worth the bang for your buck as well. Guaranteed atleast 1 monthly Member-Only stream, this month had 2 with the Birthday After-Party which was a lot of fun. She has a monthly wallpaper and monthly 4-panel comics. She really tries her best to make it worthwhile for people. And you really feel like Watame funnels like 90% of her income back to her career. She's basically said as much on multiple occasions. And between the amount of songs she released last year, the "my song" MV, which I'm sure blew the only recently achieved most expensive MV of Kanata out of the water, and her Solo Live, I can definitely see where she's coming from.

Yeah on a scale of 1 to Taiwan, this is surely a 1. Pretty much the definition of a nothingburger. As far as I can tell, La+ is pretty level-headed, so she won't pull a Rushia and go nuclear.

How dare the native Austrian want a traditional looking outfit reflective of her culture!
This but unironically. Never go full traditional, especially for an international audience - you have to meet people halfway if you want the mass market appeal. It's the same for the Japanese talents, when they're pulling something from Japanese tradition they do the watered-down pop-culture version of it rather than the fully authentic version like that one MTG set twenty years ago that ended up just confusing everyone.
Why are we still assuming that video call was recorded the day it was sent?
We're not, it doesn't matter. If anything, if she took the time to think ahead and record a video ahead of time so that Zen would get a high-quality birthday message, then that's more damning than if it was more short-term.

In unrelated news Nihmune got a 3-day suspension on Twitch. (Right while I was halfway through a VOD...). Claims she doesn't know why.

It can never be 100% accurate, but the extension works likes this:
1. Imagine a video truly has 1000 likes and 100 dislikes, obviously we as viewers can't see the dislikes.
2. The extension sees that it's users specifically have liked the video 100 times vs the 10 users that disliked it.
3. It then looks at the real number of likes, and takes the ratio between the number of extension user likes and dislikes and applies it to the dislikes on the video.
So yeah, it is dependent on a lot of people having this extension to get a more accurate reading, but they have well over 2,000,000 users so the sample size is nice and big.

I have seen some fairly popular creator mention during some podcast that the dislikes extension was very accurate. If you have a youtube channel you can still see your own 'true' dislikes so they can easily check and let you know if it's bullshit or not, and I think most creators have confirmed it's accuracy.

As much as I agree with you, I think we should be less inclined to immediately jump to describing things as such. I called Lauren's porn slip a nothingburger and he was gone for 2 months. The farms described Rushia's discord slip as a nothingburger and it swelled into a contract termination. The variables of fans, antis, and the company actions can very easily create substance to a situation where there isn't any.

Ehhhhhh this isn't really true. Most of the company-mandated kimonos the members get for NY are designs and styles you'll see out and about in Japan during festivals. They're very culturally appropriate. There are certain rules to how a kimono should look and be worn but the colours/patterns themselves are seldom part of the equation.

I don't have a memory bank of every outfit and how it may or may not relate to their culture, but those are the most prevalent examples. Of course, there ARE anime-fied designs like Kazama Iroha's base but as far as alt outfits go I don't begrudge Kiara of wanting to have an outfit that represents her.

I take issue with the colour scheme, and I also think they could have added more 'frills' to the design without bringing its traditional authenticity into question. Similarly, I think it is just as possible for Finana's illustrator to make Hmong steppe clothing aesthetically pleasing as it is for it to be an eyesore.
