Well it's that combined with the fact that every major Vtuber and Company in the industry heavily pushes unity amongst Vtubers even if their in a competing company. What Connor said is admittedly not that bad but Ironmouse herself doesn't want to potentially badmouth another major Vtuber group especially with her current position as a top EN Tuber that's part of a corpo.

Badmouthing a neighboring corpo or big Vtuber after all could get you on a shit list of people to not Collab with. Look at Vei for example who out of all Vshojo has as of yet not even interacted with a single person in Hololive due to her previous statements. Whether it's due to fear of audience backlash or an actual blacklisting she's essentially barred for whatever reason to not be able to Collab with Hololive.

This was too much of a struggle, I had to tap out at about 20 minutes. I had glanced down at the comments when I opened the vid and was surprised they were basically all negative. Listening to it, I totally understand why.

I've only ever seen Mouse doing the annoying over the top screaming thing before, seeing her do the quiet, slow "dramatic" talking is worse. Not really fussed on what she was saying, seemed very disingenuous and passive aggressive, I hate that "Oh guys, I just think I'm still that small livestreamer who only had one friend in the world" fallback when someone uses a public platform to fuck with someone lol

The fucking "When Nux uploaded his video... I was sure I was about to die. I was sure my friends were all about to be murdered" Fuck off lol Goddammit, the cringe is unbearable. It's like midnight here and I was fucking bursting with laughter at that one. "Our lives were on the line to bring you our titty pee pee poo poo fanny burp content" I get it. Being doxxed is scary when you're trying to be anon (and don't want people knowing if you're actually hot or not when you're a thot streamer) but when you claim you've been dealing with this for over a year, I'm sure you'd be able to deal with it by then lol

But this is really old news so I'm sure it's been covered to death when it originally aired. Glad I at least got a chance to watch it and saw Flam's TL;DR on the whole thing. Seems like a cluster and just really dumb drama, so my initial instincts all those months ago to ignore it was right and I was right to not watch Mouse lol Honestly thought it was going to be a bigger drama than it was, didn't realise pretty much the entire drama was "VShojo just handled the response REALLY badly" so was interesting.

I'm pretty neutral about Conner since you cant say what his actual motives are for some things he does. But isn't he qualified to talk about these things since he also had to build his channel over time? I disagree with his belief hololive doesn't factor in talent, but he also built himself up.

He's not wrong when all the girls that debut already get upwards of 100,000 subs before their first stream. The same goes for donations and whatnot. Some of these girls get thousands of dollars in donations without even doing shit. You can argue that he is implying that you can be a talentless hack but once you are in, you made it, but at the same time Cover won't just pick any random people off the street (if not we would have Digibro's ex-gf) so there is no way to really prove that someone who is talentless will make it big. By default, the girls chosen have shown some sort of talent even if there are a sizeable number of them that had little to no experience with streaming (which he mentions). Look at Calli. Great artist/songwriter but her first streams were pretty dogshit.




Dumb Monkey broke her Monitor when she threw the controller at it after dying during her Shantae gameplay. Last 10 minutes of the stream is her realizing she fucked up and then asking chat if it could be fixed. Then looking for computer monitor prices online as it seems it belongs to her brother.

I occasionally watch Trash Taste and a bit of Connor and I genuinely think he meant no harm, however he has a genuine problem where he speaks his mind so bluntly and tries to explain things in the classic British Cunt sort of way that he comes off as rather mean and abrasive. Theirs a reason why he's poked fun at for being "monke" brained, he doesn't think things through and he has very little patience.

But then he is wrong, it does matter about being a good streamer. You do need talent to get in, we have only had one case where that was not true and it's Subaru.

Honestly, the fact that even MOUSE was visibly upset at Connor's implication and gave him several avenues to shut the fuck up and he just kept digging that hole... This is the main thing that made me stop liking him fairly recently.

Also, not trying to imply anything negative about either of them by bringing this up, but when looking at what Connor said about Hololive I think it is worth remembering that the member of Hololive he interacts with the most is Calli. You know, the one who literally admitted to "grossly misrepresenting" herself during the application process. She turned out great of course, but what if she hadn't?
