Bruh. What you've seen is kayfaybe, it's not real. Or do you think the pink cat is a lesbian as well?
Yes I'm aware of that possibility thats part of the reason I said Froot not Apricot and the same could be said of any niji or holo of course there is a likelyhood that the seiso is an act

I was talking about a character whose seiso image is marred by that scandal not whether the seiso in question was genuine

You want politics? Well guess what, there's a multitude of faggots, hypocrites and grifters ready to tell you exactly what (you) wanna hear, and you don't need a vtuber for that! No spoiling for choices either!
That argument makes no sense. Before vtubers were lots of regular streamers playing video games or singing karaoke or doing dance routines, but there's still an audience that prefers to watch a vtuber do those things. Why can't we have the same thing for politics?
This was back when everyone loved Calli though and I was repeatedly told how based and redpilled she was being.
IMO at that point it was fun bants all round. It was only when the condom money superchat came that she lost the plot.

I just want you know that this old Gura/Connor discussions were slowly draining my soul as I skipped though them.

Fair enough. I just see the bump as a trade-off for having to start over and passing the auditions.

To be fair, when Sana does stream, she still does pretty well. She got 4k viewers with her chill stream playing a pretty simple fan-game earlier. She had a string of bad IRL luck, one of which is probably still affecting her ability to do too much. Before her back issues, she did stream consistently after her return from her dog dying. Between the early break, and Susan fucking her hard, though, I don't really know how much effort she would be able to put in without seeing extreme diminishing returns. Like, it may have been changed or fixed after HL getting MCN status, but YT was really fucking her over early debut. She still have more twitter followers than YT followers. IIRC she is the only HL member where that is the case.
Funny thing is that she has more Twitter follower (412k) than Youtube follower (332k) although she doesn't post any self-drawn art there.

I just noticed. I am banned from Hina's chat, Mari's roommate and friend, I dont think I have ever interacted or even used his chat before :story:

It was likely the same person that banned you elsewhere. I'd guess Prince since he was the one replying to the Twitter retards.
Whether or not this marine is irrelevant to the question at hand which is what the fuck are they feeding Japanese women these days? There's a big ass epidemic that didn't exist 20 years ago

Since connor discussion is back, connor is someone im predisposed to dislike given his status as a filthy euro and how hes been used as a weapon against calli and her fans, but he himself is probably a fine guy who has the brain of a retarded child and calli is clearly friends with him and nothing shes done regarding him screams anything more to me than just trying to cover for her friends, even if she said short sighted things to do so.

"No politics" is typically just shorthand for "no politics I dislike." If an indie vtuber started talking about building the wall or the evils of cultural Marxism they'd pretty quickly end up being a thread favorite, let's be real.

Personally I don't get the notion that vtubers have to be a certain thing. At this point vtubing is a technology, not a genre. I'm not interested in politics-focused vtubers but I don't think it is fundamentally wrong to be one.

So am I reading this right that the clowns representing VShojo are suing that guy over copyright infringement for using the VShojo logo as a way to sue the guy and get the videos taken down because they know there is no way in hell they could win a defamation suit?

Speak for yourself.
Trademark infringement, that makes it even funnier. Copyright is a temporary monopoly on a work of art but trademark exists to eliminate imitators that could bamboozle consumers into buying inferior products branded in a deceptively similar way, thereby ruining the perception of the original.

Yeah. VTubing is just a medium.

Also worthy of note that the only V-Tuber created by a political party to spread political messages comes from Japan. It's very reminiscent of anime where weebs try to categorise what 'anime' is and the Japanese look at them like the vexing, contrarian mongoloids that they are.

I'm not going to offer my opinion on the Connor/Vshojo stuff for the millionth time, but I will say that not watching a V-Tuber you don't like or aren't enjoying is the easiest thing in the world. Just close your eyes, retards.

Technically, China's Communist Youth League attempted vtuber mascots, but they were so inundated with criticism that they cancelled the project within five hours.

Most of the controversy centered around how cringeworthy and frankly out-of-touch it was to release cutesy anime idol propaganda when there were a whole host of pressing real-world issues at hand still unaddressed - this was early in 2020, when COVID lockdowns were first coming down and the entire nation was in a state of panic. It also caught the attention of feminists, who started bombarding their 'ask us anything' hashtag with pointed questions about the current state of women's rights in China, like 'Will you be forced into a marriage if you're still single at 30?' or 'Will your job fire you for not being attractive enough?'

Just a few more weeks and we can wallow in nostalgia over coco for a day or 2.
