Yabairys in her true form

I know folks aren't crazy about his design but seeing these got tweeted out, and man those are some intensely detailed reference sheets, Digging the attention to detail seeing where the gloves "plug in" to the ports on the back of the gauntlets on his arms for manual control as well as showing how all the mechanics are hidden on his back.
It's a pity the majority of streams you'll only see the chest and up, which means we don't get to admire his cool hands/cape. Surely vtuber artists would consider this fact when designing models, right?
I'm also wondering how Cover will rig his 3d with all those hands. It's going to look weird if they flop around weightlessly like ribbons. Just kidding, he's EN, so he's never going to get a 3d model.

kson finally showing off the CodeMiko-like 3D:
I actually don't mind CodeMiko as much, it still hits the uncanny valley because they try too hard to make her model look and move as realistic as possible but I can still watch her without much problem.

This though. This should never have come to light.

I do wonder if others in vshojo will now want to copy her just like a whole load of them (and their orbiters) getting those 3D ArtGun models with the same face?

I get going 3d with an anime avatar for vtubing, but why the fuck would you want to go the "realistic 3d" way? Specially in Kson's case, where she has a huge record of flesh tubing before.

It doesn't make sense to me, not stylistically, not technically and definetly not financially.
And to burn that kind of money for some gimmick feels like a bad financial decision.

With CodeMiko, at least she acts like a glitchy, weird dork (part of her personality). That mitigates some of the creepiness. Kson is acting like there's absolutely nothing wrong whatsoever, which makes the uncanny valley even worse, in my opinion.

There's business, there's passion and there's money, and they all meet in some intersection where rich peoples dreams thrive. She's evidentely passionate about the tech and the possibilities of the medium beyond what it's already explored, it's not nonsensical for her to have all the latest tech. Then she'll probably just keep building gunpla.
