She doesn't care about the boy branch but it's not like she actively pretends they don't exist.
She's not? Sure seems that way to me.
  1. She doesn't follow them on Twitter (the only HoloEN who doesn't), while following every girls.
  2. I have heard people claiming that she actively avoids signs that contain the Stars name when touring the ID Minecraft server.
  3. On the first day of Tempus debut, she scheduled her stream three hours later than her usual time to avoid clashing (probably due to management request), but still make no mention of them. The at the end of the stream, she talked about wanting to stream the next day but probably couldn't since it would have to be "really late", probably to avoid clashing with the Tempus debut + collab, yet again she didn't really elaborate beyond that.

at debut Kaela just felt like the boring ones out of the three
I had the same with Anya. I watched the debut, but she was just so unremarkable and boring. I shelved her and watched basically nothing of her besides her Unravel collab with Ina (the game, not the song) a year ago.
But now I have watched 2 full Rust streams of her within the last week, and it was a really plesant experience.

Edit:
(probably due to management request)

New Gen debutes come with a company wide stream ban for everyone else.
It was quite funny to see their schedule overview https://schedule.hololive.tv/lives/all wiped pretty clean 2 days in a row when Council hat their debut, and then had to postpone to the following day.

Idk I find it entertaining that everyone speaks their native yet the JP and EN (due to the scripted nature) can understand eachother regardless its kinda neat and I hope it sticks around or at least in the case of Bae Irys and Calli they go back and forth
I admit there's some truth in that. Tekken back when they first started adding the native languges amused me. Just what with the whole vtuber/anime thing I figured it was pretty easy to swap languages too as some sort of standardized set up. Also gives the girls attempting to learn Japanese an excuse to use it a bit or at least practice pronunciation. Although come to think of it playing with the language barrier itself has decent potential for some goofy episodes. I'll also always accept any excuse for some Korone English lol.

After typing it out more I suppose my brain wasn't sure what to expect anyway. Part of me just assumed they would do EN and/or ID versions and not integrate, which probably wouldn't have been particularly strong. Regardless, lookin forward to see what they attempt with it. Long as they keep it subbed they can keep the 2 or so minutes of my view time per weekend.

On a side note: I just learned that you can be a vtuber single mom and still get simps donating you, thanks /vt/
Credit for finding her own weird niche as far as anything I've ever seen show up here. Get that easy money I guess. She really needs to be careful of the potential freakshow fanbase she is courting and cultivating here assuming this isn't all larp. I hope she's honestly just fleecing the fuck out of people because otherwise the situation is a bit fucked up already. At least in my opinion.

Making a horror house with Suisei is just cheating

Elite horse rider
I felt so goofy not realizing Polka was doing some of the voice stuff until I saw that clip yesterday. Granted I think most people are aware of how versed Suisei is in horror and playing crazy so I don't feel too stupid, just kind of. Suisei could have easily played the entire part.
Maybe during planning they remembered Polka screams like a mad woman. Let Suisei save her voice while giving Polka more involvement. Either way had some fun watching a few groups run through it.

Of those 3 examples, only the second one would fall under "actively avoiding" the other two are entirely passive inaction.

But it's also just some schizo hearsay of "I heard she doesn't look at signs" which is impossible to show or prove.

That just reinforces my point. She knows they exist, just doesn't talk about them. There's a difference. Also, "I've heard people claiming" is not really any kind of argument at all.

I have gone through a similar process for several of the hololive girls, being unenthused and then growing to like them - in Anya's case she's one of my favorites now (I really enjoyed her half life streams) - except I can't get over that mask in her new outfit.

It's really frustrating and I don't entirely know how to put into words why it bothers me so much. Maybe it's just that I have internally associated the masks with retards who think they do anything for the coronavirus (especially when not taking any other defensive measures at all, rendering even a hypothetical protection from a mask moot), and so the mask in her outfit feels like some kind of political statement. Or maybe its just that it's ugly and it isn't a cute anime girl's face anymore and that messes with something in my monkey brain.

I wanted to watch her rust stream earlier. I loaded it. Tried to. But I couldn't, and I'm bothered by that.

I get that it could be played off like "oh its just a steampunk thing, its not about the virus" but fuck off, any vtuber with a mask is referencing these masks retards are still wearing outside of the internet.

Anything but another forum(Specifically, just one thread) would not work to retain the posting culture or the archiving nature of this thread. Discord being the worst idea out of all. It fails for archiving purposes and also fails as a way of interacting with a community on a daily basis with the ability of catching up at your on pace through the pages.

Imagine trying to catch up on discord to a live watching of a collab.
Just isolate users prone to live reacting to #nolan-crush and disable their posting perms in any other channel until they repent.

I've had this insane, hopelessly delusional fantasy of a forum where (small-scale) talents are able to interact with a candid audience and get feedback and advice. There's a ton of shit out there about vtubing; how to do it, what to do, what not to do, etc. But it's all decentralized. Whenever you try and talk about this stuff in a more conventional place, you get delusional idiots demanding you buy the kayfabe or getting angry when you imply that maybe their oshi considers this a job instead of an intimate parasocial relationship.
I think 'allowing' active vtubers, or at least those willing to identify themselves as such, would just open an avenue for some assholes to try to manipulate an audience in their favour. Shit, wouldn't even necessarily stop someone from potentially trying semi-anonymously on a sockpuppet. Sure they'd get called out and laughed at for it (probably. hopefully.) but it would just be less of a headache to not have to deal with jealous 1views trying to hypershill themselves and pull twitter-tier drama bullshit. I wouldn't doubt there'd be some that'd try to do that shit here even if it weren't for the additional fear of being outed as being attached to Kiwifarms. The radioactive glow is a good buffer to keep a lot more shit at bay.

I also get the idea of liking the thought of having a sounding board to serve as a critical audience, but that has the risk of just turning into a straight up echo chamber. It's overwhelming how many people just want to pamper and coddle their favourite cartoon men and women even in situations where they might legitimately want advice. Asking for input on something and just getting a bunch of "NOOOOO it's fine hon ur doing so good!!!" attached to $100 paychecks isn't going to inspire growth if they can legitimately improve, it'll just reward complacency.

If it doesn't, give your oshi lots of love and patience. Give a 1 or 2 view a chance. Don't go to vt too much and get super cynical. Come say hi to me on twitch even though I can't tell you who I am! (No one important, I promise.)
You maybe got some suggestions on some times to give these 2views a look-see?

He also mentioned during that zatsu that it took them 2 months to get perms for dnd 5e for some reason, Vesper asked for dnd 5e perms way in advance before they even debuted and he got them I think a week ago. I don't know why the fuck it took that long, but there you go.
Hasbro/WotC are fucking fags is why.

Towa is doing a Warhammer sponsored stream

If you're interested in early onset deafness, Omolumi is streaming Doom 2

Since our absence here, Kiara's descent into Rust has been interesting change in pace for someone who is generally against FPS games. Amazingly there is a significant part of her core KFP audience which has become very cunty about it. Perhaps it was touched on back before the hiatus, so I won't go into beyond there are a few regular paypigs that have been crying about it. The promised collabs that they were hoping on saving it hasn't happened because she's still nervous about running towards gunfire. There was a discord leak from the chicken server actually complaining about her. If vanished off the face of /vt/ before I got around saving it. That's on me. I'll go hunting for it, but I'm certain others here have seen it.

There was a semi-interesting spergout directed to IRyS for getting Kiara killed a couple times by a singular chicken and it was enough to get that Vtuber cringe vtweeter mad enough to tweet about a zero reply schizo post.

Post in question.

As funny as you having some sort of faggy PTSD over a piece of cloth on someones face is, you've at least given me areason to use this from Okayu's stream the other day so I guess you get credit for that much.

Didn't see any fan reactions to it because honestly I don't really look for that stuff but I was watching that stream with Kiara and IRyS.

As a TLDR for folks that might be interested.
IRyS met up with Kiara in rust, left her horse at Kiara's house and the two of them went and repaired and took off in a hot air balloon and they flew over to where IRyS's house was

IRyS forgot she had shotgun traps set up and when the two of them walked in her front door they went off killing Kiara and nearly downing IRyS herself, chicken was sent home for respawn (which is basically on the opposite end of the map so it's a long trek back. Chicken is mildly salty but it was just an accident so no biggy.

Kiara takes IRyS horse to run back saying it'll work out that she can return the horse that way and says that IRyS can pay her in scrap for this service and they agree on a price.

She finally arrive IRyS pays her, and accidentally overpays her slightly without realizing it, Kiara notices and is just like "ok well gonna go now byeeeeeeeeeee and starts nervously making her way out of there because she's not super trusting of IRyS and she'd "pulled one over on her" by taking some extra scrap.

IRyS fires a shot just to scare the chicken while she's leaving, Kiara screams and starts running, IRyS goes to do it again and the stars align, her warning shot hits and kills Kiara, Kiara is considerably more salty from this as she now has to make the long trek yet again, this time on foot, suspects this wasn't an accident and more or less asks her chat if anyone is watching IRyS's stream and if they can tell her if it was an accident or not. (she probably didn't even need to ask because EN viewers don't know how to shut the fuck up about stream sniping even when unprompted and other members have been trying to get viewers to stop doing that stuff) She seems to accept that it was an accident but is still frustrated, trudges back to get her stuff and flees before IRyS can even directly contact her again.

It was a fairly entertaining chain of events to be quite honest.

So what exactly do they stream over in Chaturbate? I have the same question about Fefe. She has a paid subscription thing and what does she do? Melody-style videos but with Live2d?
They stream their Live2d while doing like ASMR moans apparently so yeah melody basically but like worse production values

Speaking of Anya's design, it does look a bit "off" compared to most other Hololive designs. I think it's because the artist was trying to make her doll-like. She has pale, porcelain-like skin without much color variation, and large eyes with big, round pupils and no irises. You can see this comparing her to her genmates in their Ochame Kinou cover (incidentally this is my favorite OK cover from Hololive).

When it comes to her new outfit, there's maybe a bit of a clash between her delicate, porcelain-doll design and the harsher steampunk accoutrements (gas mask, gears, leather straps, metal parts, etc).

Not that I'm complaining. Neither her design nor the new outfit are bad by any means, there are just some odd contrasts that make the whole thing a bit more interesting.

https://kiwifarms.net/threads/virtual-youtubers.69525/page-3089#post-10353906 Longer vod of interview. I think the timestamp is around 1h13m where it starts to get into it? I probably am wrong

Nothing I listened to here made me lose respect here whatsoever
Welp guess I need to up my research skills as this flew completely under my radar. I keep making the same zoomer mistake of assuming everyone I watch is around my age unless stated otherwise.
There are also these old tweets if someone wants confirmation without sitting through a video.

Pfp, twitter handle, and behavior, all signs point to an exceptional individual. I think I might have a personal bias that the KFP are a stronger strain of unicorn gachi, though.
