If they could get a mocap studio in the US, they would have, she wouldn't choose less for her performance just because "she's an ame simp"
you bring up more Gura performances to debunk what I said about one song, but the Ina half of the statement still applies.
Indonesian example again I think there's a fairly logical explanation that the ID girls are centralized they can meet up at the same studio quite a bit easier than Gura or Ina could. 1 studio rental to get 2 songs recorded vs 2 studio rentals to get 1 song recorded. Which one makes more business sense to accomplish.
I'm not doubting it's possible for them to go to other studios, Kiara wouldn't have even tried it in the first place if it was entirely impossible, I'm doubting Cover would spring for such a low return on investment booking separate studios in 2 different countries for 2 girls to contribute 1 song to a concert that is being provided for free to the public. Don't think I've heard any murmurs of 3d recordings, or dance lessons, or anything similar coming out of either of the girls memberships either. maybe that'll change and I'll change my mind, but as it stands what you're explaining here is pretty easy to poke holes in.

I'm not too sure about how Cover managed to make an interactive 3D choreo happen or was it really them this time, but they said they practiced for HoloFes before, like Kiara had her friend make a choreo for Hinotori and she had bruises for practicing it, and Gura talked about trying to learn a proper choreo for the first time.
The thing is that they only needed a short performance footage for HoloFes, then they could send the data to Cover, which could be done by a studio. But Kiara wanted a full-length concert with real concert-backgrounds, light stages, collabs and shit, which Cover refused to provide (she talked about it on stream). It was a last-minute decision so no studio was available at that time and Ame didn't send her mocap suit in time. That's why Ame offered to help at her place with her own mocap suit for detailed multi-angle capture and let Kanauru handle the backgrounds.

Nijisanji announced that Millie and Mysta have had to pull out of NijiFes 2022. Mysta said early on that he might have to and wasn't getting his hopes up due to the time it'll take him to renew his passport. Millie is likely in the same boat given that their cancellations were announced together but that's not 100% confirmed.
Everyone else listed from KR, ID, and EN will be there in person. There's even been preliminary off-collab hints such as Nagao and Selen. I strongly imagine everyone will be keen to do off-collabs while they're all in Tokyo together so October is going to be big.
