I kept waiting and hoping the .net or at least the .ru would come back, but finally gave up and am trying using brave with the .onion address. Pretty slow, but not horrible. I already have been accessing through a VPN so it wasn't the fastest anyway, this is just slightly more so.
Looks like there is a .top now too? I tried using it but it is actually slower than .onion for me, so for now sticking with that.
As I've been catching up there are too many ideas and places to keep track of. It's good everyone is trying to come up with alternatives in case KF truly bites the dust, but I'm getting confused with the various temporary sites, send DMs to such-and-such, discord, notTwitter/poa.st (don't understand how people creating accounts there can replicate a thread like this at all and I'm not really interested in another twitter), etc etc.
I don't know, if I can't just come to a single place for this kind of info, I might end up giving up. Been thinking of trying to slow down a bit on vtubers and related drama/gossip. Maybe I'll suffer withdrawal eventually and track down the new place where we congregate, if it happens. I'm only a semi-regular anyway, not quite as active as some of you spergs. But at least for now it looks like KF is still around, one way or another.
I also checked the VOD or rather the liveTL transcript at holodex, imo it seems unrelated to Kobo. She ranted about haters in general, that they say how fake she is and how people backseat her content. Here the full transcript:

Well the one thing I do agree with on there is that Zeta's started swearing pretty regularly. I've said before I'm not a fan of that, and she isn't at Kiara/Calli levels of course, but it has started to get noticeable. She mentions she does it when playing FPS, which I get and do myself too (I know how it goes) so I was giving her a bit of slack on that for awhile, but she's started dropping F bombs and other stuff pretty frequently in her other streams and zatsus and it put me off. Now I'm not going to become an anti and harass her and leave comments all over youtube/twitter crapping on her, but I did decide finally to drop my membership and have slowed down on watching as much of her streams. She is still really cute and has a great voice, but I'm trying to cut back on how much vtubers, or at least streams, I'm watching and it made the choice easier.

In my humblest of opinion, I think Discord is still the best option that we have for now
But, to avoid the gays shits that usually happene to a Discord servers, I believe there must be some very strict rules that everyone must agree to follow, such as a slow mode to reduce spamming a la Discord, and strict no porn shit. You know, rules that is pretty much the same as this New Zealan website
I personally believe that if we do use Discord as an alternative (for now), it's best that the server only has just a single channel, just like how this thread is, but with a slow mode on to discourage doubleposting and more editing of post
And of course you all know if we do use Discord, you have to have a burner/alt account ready, right?
Yeah it would become tempting to split a discord, if one was created to replace this KF thread, into multiple channels, but as you said it could become just a bunch of echo chambers that way. Having a single thread/channel encourages discovering new talents/content, self-policing, single point for news (especially of vtubers we might not follow regularly), and just a general sense of a more singular community.
That being said, I'd love a separate thread/channel for live stream commentating. That is the one thing that shits up the thread on the regular here. We don't need multiple pages of people live posting everytime pippa does a stream, honestly.
