The difference is being gay is a real, unchangeable part of who you are and all gay people asked for was equal treatment. Being trans is a self-harm subculture and they ask for special treatment, to the detriment of others. "Trans rights" are equivalent to furries demanding to be allowed to fuck the wolves at the zoo. They've permanently captured terminally online leftists (I should know, I am one and only became gender critical a few years ago) but I don't think their grip on normies is as strong as they hope it is. Hopefully the more they show their asses like this the more it loosens. The day woke capitalism decides tran right is no longer a profitable message is the day their movement dies, and I cannot fucking wait.

The biggest problem is doctors and pharmacists who betray the "First, do no harm" part of the Hippocratic Oath in order to create dependent, life long customers. That's an actual lobby with a profit motive behind it that's going to be hard to dislodge. My main hope here is that as the trannies age, and their transitioning related health problems plus the normal health problems that come with old age become extremely visible the lifestyle will become even less attractive than it already is until the whole thing collapses. Of course, the best thing to do would be to treat horse piss the way we do Oxycontin as it is now a recreational drug, as you can easily find from reading troon posts online. Make doctors afraid to hand it out like candy, and suddenly the troon problem fades away on its own. Alternatively, successful lawsuits from detransitioners might also collapse the whole thing. We're stuck with them for a while, though, I guess.

This is what i feared the most; cancel culture effecting vtubing. the moment we turned vtubing into more mainstream and allowed radical sjws to infiltrate the platform, this was inevitable.

This game is just the first in a long line of weird moments where V-Tubers have been showing their anti-woke streak. The only ones I really follow are HoloCouncil and IronMouse, and Council is pretty apolitical, but I distinctly remember Mouse going on a pretty big rant on a stream about woke-ass 'girl power' rep in gaming, and was also very vocal in bashing the Silvervale hate brigade.

I wonder what will happen with Pikamee, if we'll see anything similar, though from my understanding of the situation she's more of a JP flavor.

There’s some authenticity you can have when you are behind an avatar. Considering how many vtubers are introverted, it may give them a cover to be who they are without showing their real self. They can express their dorkiness, lewdness, and interests in a way that would be considered cringe if done IRL.

Ironically Pikamee was probably one of the biggest reasons for western vtubers being a thing in the first place. That said, western corpos did a decent job with gatekeeping via their no politics rule even if it's not a perfect solution. I think the terminally online nature of trannies would've caused issues at some point either way

For the record, and this is more for the eventual tourists coming here, this was not the fault of "Bullies" or "Antis", or what ever other group they will attempt to push blame onto to save their skin.

This was because of Trannies.
