I heard Japan was actually being rather lenient about taking Ukrainian refugees, or whatever counts as "lenient" for Japanese immigration/refugee situations but they've been publicly pretty open about support for them.

in her defense from what i have seen she is at least being fair about the timer in the sense that most streamers will sleep while the timers running so you need to gift subs while they are asleep if you want the stream to keep going.

anny is at least pausing it when she is asleep/away which is why her subathon has gone on for as long as it has. its still a huge money grab but at least shes not being as scummy about it as other vtubers and streamers in general have been.

On the topic of kayfabe I think Lamy is really funny. when she debuted she was soft spoken, polite and ladylike, now she's known as the drunk annoying whiny woman but when she's doing promotional pieces like animations, she tries to go back to the initial persona and her fans are like "??? who the fuck is this and what did she do with Lamy?"

After the big 3D stream they dropped a multibranch Hololive Summer HoloGra episode including a squatting Suisei and some graceful dancing

Someone decided to make some AI cover songs of Ironmouse and CDawgVA. Ironmouse then was asked her opinion on stream to which she stated that she hates it and says the person should have asked her permission. Some of her fans decided to take to the comments of the AI cover video to voice their displeasure.

There really should be list of the times Ironmouse has decided to be brat on stream over fairly minor issues. The one that comes to mind at the moment is the time Flamenco restreamed her talking about the VShojo drama. She pubically called him out for it on her stream and her fans raided his chat.

In lighthearted news, there was an overnight success story of a small indie japanese vtuber. Kashii streamed Genshin Impact mostly to a viewer count of 15-60 people at a time, gaining single-digit followers a day. Nothing special.

Asmongold was streaming genshin impact news, and for a reason I don't care to look into, browsed twitch channels and his chat prompted him to click a random stream. Kashii was chosen. Kashii knocked it out of the park with the cuteness, resulting in the following video.


Asmongold and his twenty-thousand viewership were smitten, and Kashii became an instant star.

Her most recent stream hit a level 10 support train, which in layman's terms means she got a bunch of money. She makes attempts to speak in very cute English and read everything in the chat. This story warmed my heart to see an instant-star be made, and I'm looking forward to the karaoke streams.

come back in a month and see if it holds. seen that too often by now that some 2view gets pushed, it's "the thing" for a while, and then it becomes business as usual again. some adapt, some don't.

I don't know about Vepser, but this is the reason for Magni.

Edit: I have a rrat. Vesper volunteered to be Magni's nurse after Magni's surgery because no relative of his could help him. Especially since Magni mentions that he will be in pain and have trouble moving around. This rrat is boring, thus having higher chances of survival. Expect an off-collab stream after some time involving the two of them.

So the Vtuber community was up in arms because people were making fun of a vtuber concert hosted by a thai(?) vtuber who was singing on a screen on stage.
