same. glad there's at least one other person in the thread that feels this way.

vtuber awards were decent. in general i think the nominees were not as broad or varied they could have been, and some of the award categories were baffling. for example i am happy for fauna to win anything, but "best minecraft tuber" seems like a pretty limited and arbitrary category.

i agree with whoever said there should have been a male vtuber category-- maybe next year. i am not really into events so there being THREE event categories seemed excessive.

filian did a good job hosting, which isn't a surprise. my standard for this stuff is "would i have to commit suicide if people irl knew i watched it" and this awards show cleared that bar. i am starting to find filian's schtick of being a virgin or whatever kind of tiresome. def a holdover from idol culture.

mel won best lewdtuber and gave a weirdly earnest speech about lewdtubing as like... a political movement? i have a lot of respect for melody even if her content is not for me, she clearly works hard and deserves her success, but that was an unexpected tone from someone who usually is kind of silly and acts ditzy.

lol at the chumbuds won "most dedicated fanbase." can't argue with that i guess.

i'm surprised my boy Aethel wasn't in the running for best music vtuber. I could come up with a bunch of these "why wasn't so-and-so nominated" but you get the idea

There has been a 4chan anon who pushed the rrat of their graduation as soon as they put our schedules with their respective announcements. They strongly believe Erika is going to join PixelLink, but that is like a downgrade from VReverie. Cheri, I don't know her roommate, but she clearly has experience with youtube/gaming content, and is assumed she will return one way or another to content creation.
This anon plagued since that day the /vre/ and /pxl/ threads (respectively for each relevant corpo), as well as /corpo/--a thread general for corpos without their own thread (there are a couple generals that have split from it, including those two). No solid evidence as to point whether VRev's management is at fault, but is the main reason the schizo gave.
Both girls are also clarifying that they have made this decisions for months now

I'm guessing they mean Marina, he's the tranny vtuber that got banned for a day for appearing with his nude female model. Not sure on the sex pest stuff but seeing as he's a tranny I'd say there are good odds he's into so fucked up shit. I do remember he threw stones at Pikamee too during the Hogwarts drama so I'll always be pretty pleased to see anyone that attacked the kettle GET WHAT THEY FUCKING DESERVE.

That seems a bit sudden especially when they just opened auditions on the 3rd for their next gen. The only one I've really watched from their company was Nova so I'm glad she wasn't one of the ones leaving. I also noticed that Erika and Cheri were two of their biggest talents in terms of subs so that has to sting really hard.

She's following some accounts that are Ophelia and Rana both of which have join dates end of 2023. Rana's has some interesting posts at the start of her timeline:

Nice to see Purin is doing well, as well as a person who's had as many disasters in their life as her can be anyways. It's been a long time since I've heard Nano Desu, makes me remember the days when BakaBT was good (and open) and the internet was less crap.

Wasn't aware she was a Judas Priest fan. Hopefully their 2024 album will be good, KK's Priest has been an okay filler but Kenneth really can't write for shit.
