General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I was playing along in my head and I would've likely spelled out 'sacriledgious' on the spot, even though one of my favorite bands is called Sacrilege. It's just hard to spell out words under pressure when you can't write them down.

I don't really care much for VTubing, but a recent video came out explaining the controversies surrounding "Femboy VTuber" BungoTaiga. More specifically the accusations of pedophilia and grooming. It also goes over Taiga's stalker, which has peeked my interest in the situation. As this person has paypigged a FUCKTON of money to Taiga, only to be denied any sexual advances from him. And for this person, in turn, try to ruin Taiga's life.

Since the video dropped, Taiga's main Twitter account was suspended by the aforementioned stalker of his. The stalker is so deranged that in order for Taiga to keep his Twitch account, the stalker said that he must react to a "Jaco YouTube video", more specifically the "Evolution of Jaco's Legendary Groove". It seems that the individual stalking has a deeper obsession with Taiga. It's pretty disturbing, even for a degenerate faggot like Taiga. First image was taken from his Discord server, where he announced that his account was suspended.

The stalker in question seems to go by the name of "VintageBassArchive" (archive), which seems to be a channel dedicated to bass players. Although it doesn't seem like he's the stalker of Taiga, taking a look at his Twitter account paints a whole new picture. It looks like this person specifically targets various VTubers beyond Taiga.

A few key notes from skimming the account:
  • Taiga, or an associate of his, sent a cease and desist against VintageBassArchive, due to the harassment and mass reporting this person has been engaging in.
  • They own another Twitter account called "FemboyArchiveYT", more than likely just a throwaway.
  • They have an unhealthy obsession not only with Taiga, but a majority of VTubers. To the point where r/VirtualTubers (archive) has taken notice of this guy's activities.
  • This is more than likely the stalker who paid Taiga thousands of dollars in donations, expecting reciprocation for their love for Taiga, but was rejected for being a retarded creep.
This is just from skimming. I think this person might be worthy of a thread if this continues along, but at the same time, I'm not too sure what I can ascertain from this beyond someone mass reporting and having an autistic battle against VTuber fans. Regardless, this is entertaining to watch.

I've been seeing a lot about him pop up on my Twitter feed; he also lost his other channel, and even one of his clippers got banned for "impersonation".
There was also a frustrated and (presumably) spur-of-the-moment QRT he made then later deleted regarding Shylily's biggest clipper being banned a couple of weeks later, that I only have "archived" in my browser's autofill.

Yeah, there's a pretty wide variety of erotubers who do that kind of thing. It's basically the first thing I check on any English vtuber, if they have a fansly or whatever then I immediately give them a pass.

It's a solid filter in general, Patreon can also be a red flag depending on the content. Unfortunately it usually is regardless thanks to private discord access being a common perk, which brings all the joys you'd expect.

To me, VintageBassArchive is much more interesting than whatever the fuck that faggot VTuber does. The fact that he went from talking about some obscure topic (old bass players & whatnot), to being this unhinged about VTubers is a fascinating shift. How does this happen? How do you end up getting into an autistic crusade over human controlled Anime AVIs?

Clio's been my main watch for some months now and it's a great time. Also it's pretty difficult to miss her considering she typically streams for around 12 hours.
She's also part of an Aussie VTuber collective called Vershion (which in June recently joined with Key Creators Talent Agency), which features her, Mako Fukasame, Jean "Jets" Faymas, and Hanya. They're still indie, though.
