I wonder what's happening there cause v&u is the only smaller corpo that actually seems to be taking their work seriously and has a real corporate structure rather than just taking a cut of their talents' pay.

Based on my extensive experience having been a dumbass teenager on the Internet (many years ago) trying to do creative stuff, and having seen many dumbass teenagers since trying to do creative stuff, I'm as sure as I can be that's what this is: dumbass teenagers trying something that will fail, that they have no clue what they're doing, that they may or may not recover from. There was a (now deleted) tweet that read the following:

That is 100% a dumbass teenager, if it was groomers running it they would promise people riches and fame, not outwardly state they have no money and no clue, they would actually attempt to inspire confidence in their targets. I've seen this exact behavior so much over literal decades I can spot it a mile away.

Maybe they would have gotten infiltrated by groomers if this had gone anywhere, but the start was nothing more than retarded kids.
