General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

The last time a real asshole tried to make drama videos was that black guy who tried to do a smear piece on Amelia Watson, and everyone put aside their differences to unite and tell him to fuck off.
Well that’s different, he’s retarded. I’m talking about someone who would know how to tighten a bottle cap.

The stream has already created fanart :cryblood:

The masculine urge to cut my eyes out with a knife intensifies

I mean he sorta has a point, they're sperging out over Rima covering their graduations and playing the announcement on stream, saying that the announcement shouldn't be reproduced on other videos/streamers even though it falls into fair use. Just makes no sense to start a fight over someone covering it as news.

It's not different from the paparazzi if you're an actual celebrity. Just people talking shit and speculating. The wisest move is to ignore it. It can spawn some pretty good memes too.

Rima wasn't even smearing anyone or shit-talking them.

not twisty on the situation

funny how two agency vtubers who got fucked over by their company are the ones that hate the drama tubers most, there's probably a conclusion you can draw from this i just can't think of it

It's funny here because Parrot's video on the twisty/aster drama largely painted her as a victim and mostly mocked Aster and Niji's response. Her time in the company was already ruined, and she went 10k in debt for nothing.

The Vtuber community has the most mild I don’t want to offend anyone drama channels on the internet and they still can’t handle it. I’m going to enjoy it when a real asshole starts to make drama videos.

There was the shitshow that was Gunt "going to war" with vtubers. Which let's be honest no matter how much gunt tries to dress it up like he's a "gonzo journalist" he's really just a drama channel where he's MATI about random shit.

I think the nigger is still out there but his Twitter was protected for a long ass time because whenever he posted people would mock him.
he went private for a while because he had an ex try to cancel him painting him as abusive and violent shortly after his dumb vtuber video

One of those situations of "oh lots of people are talking about X person so now is the time to drop the allegations" because black twitter was championing him for "standing up to vtuber racism."

Honestly the fun part is him rapidly walking back the Ame clip because she was just telling a story and the really funny part are all the people posting the 2018 Smash Bros rap because it had like 4 groomers in the video with him at the end (https://youtu.be/owpopC_lFHA)

He tried really hard to paint even the most milquetoast tards as klan members for clout but quickly walked it back and then shut up when his ex went "ok nigger but you owe me for some commissions you fucking deadbeat"

TL;DR on the whole V&U and Rima drama:

>Spectra does graduation announcement
>Rima uses some of that stream in her video covering the situation
>Doesn't notice the "don't reproduce" part of the description
>Spectra privates the stream so Rima can no longer watch it while she's still streaming
>Rima says this was an honest mistake and wanted to DM Spectra to apologize but she had already been blocked
>V&U talents start making incredibly catty comments about her for what is essentially a nothingburger anyway
>Rima fans defend the stream calling it fair use
>Parrot gets involved defending Rima and Tomomi deletes any tweets she had made about the situation
>Autistic slapfight ensues

Feel free to correct or add any information here cause really nothing about this is anything more than shit flinging anyway.

Really I'm just surprised Rima was the one getting the brunt of it and not Legal Mindset considering what he posted.

another thing that made me chuckle at the time (which yeah biased take because I'm always posting about Mori)

Was him dumping on Mori's music while when people tried to clown on his, he held up Scru Face Jean (youtube reactor and rapper) to defend his own music by showing him praising it in the video.

Meanwhile Scru with Mori's music, including her stuff as Demondice which is where most people claim she's racist from. one of his videos even starting with him aping out because Mori mentioned him on stream. and pinning her comments on his videos.

(which to be fair Scru will glaze anything that will get him clicks and nowadays he'd probably shit on Mori because that's the more popular take in those circles because he's just a trend chaser and ends up hated by most communities he dips his toes into because he flip flops on them as soon as that's where the money is)

Didn't DMCA the stream, but privated her own announcement while Rima was streaming so she couldn't see it anymore.

This isn't a death threat.

I agree Tomomi probably didn't mean it like a death threat, but Rima took it like that and seemingly it bothered her.

I don’t even know if Tomomi was talking about this dramatuber, at the time this was the second graduation announcement so people were getting gay about drama in general, including people who never watched V&U starting to stir the pot.

It has been refreshing to see that while these drama tubers are acting like the world is ending and they can’t go to cons because of things like this, the response to them is largely “lol based/fuck off with this overacting”. Let the tiger gremlin run free.

Yeah the whole crying out in pain as they strike you is pathetic. Total Dramafag Death.

To be fair, that's just False moral fagging for attention even though this entire "drama" barely involves him. Parrot on the other hand was just defending Rima because they're friends.
