I mean, I like Bijou, but as a /vt/ rapefugee you're certainly aware that she gets botted by /#/ a bunch, which is probably skewing those statistics.
as someone who also follows # related things just as a data autist even if I find their horse race mentality cancerous, it's true of the statistics in the sreenshot, yeah her numbers there are not exactly natural in recent times.
To the content of his actual comment though regarding Bijou being the most watched now of advent while the doggos have slipped viewership. He is actually correct though even if the gap between them is inflated by bots. The doggos still have incredibly strong support as shown in things like their membership numbers and what not but for quite a while now (basically ever since their move to Japan started interrupting their schedule) the doggos viewership definitely settled down significantly from their early dominance among their gen while Biboo has slowly and steadily climbed since debut.
Even putting the botting aside I'm still fairly confident that she is the advent member commanding the highest CCV numbers while in other metrics like supers, memberships, and merch sales the Dogs still hold the top spot by a good margin owing heavily to their JP appeal (there are a lot of jap viewers that will throw money and memberships at the dogs and buy their merchandise even if they don't generally watch EN streams)
do you still think the botting for biboo persists?
As recently as a couple weeks ago Bijou herself acknowledged it so I mean....... yes
Is the view botting shit just turbo spergs buying views for their oshi so they can win internet slapfights on 4chan
I'm not as sure of recent times because I hadn't been watching it as closely and was knocked offline for a couple weeks at the start of April, but in the past it definitely seemed to be precisely this and the incidents of botting would reliably pop up when specific members were about to win /#/'s retarded daily tallys. most often it would be if Fauna (or to a lesser extent IRyS) was going to win the numbermonkey race, suddenly that day someone would show up with the crazy wave graph CCV stream and take the top spot away from them. It's difficult to confirm the motivations as it being a /vt/ slapfight means there were 300 schizo theories as to what was going on but the numbermonkeys themselves blamed it mostly on some autist mad that their thread would shit on ironmouse and twitch ccv in general, and as such was just trashing the game board by ruining the "game" any time a thread favorite member was slated to "win" for the day.
Don't know if that applies to the recent slate of it happening but in the past it definitely did appear to be a result of some sort of internal /#/ slapfight.
