Maybe its because I'm not a woman but I've had friends in life that have come and gone. Even if I don't speak to them for months or years at a time, I can pick up with them just fine and consider them a friend regardless. We all got our own shit going on and sometimes people fall through the cracks.

But I can see her point. I think Silvers problem though is she kinda naively assumed when Vsho was founded that everybody was her friend. When the Hogwarts Legacy situation proved that wasn't true, it left her kind of bitter. A feeling I imagine the Sinder stuff made even worse.

I dont think Mouse is the issue at Vsho, admittedly. I think its the company itself but in a way that's affected everyone differently. Mata got shitcanned because she got tired of them failing to fufill merch orders and found Brickys company which actually did it on time. Geega left because she was just doing everything herself so why bother giving a cut to this nothing company? They most likely show heavy favoritism to Mouse since she's kinda broken out of the vtuber sphere into mainstream popularity with normies and that's perhaps what got Zen in the long run. As much as we joke about Vsho being the Zens friends company, Mouse prolly has x10 the sway she does and maybe she's flexed it in ways that Zen didn't like.

Or maybe Mouse is just a huge cunt behind the scenes. Who knows? A match needs to light the fuse before this can really get started.

I'm generally fairly blackpilled, but on this one topic I have a bit of optimism: people are starting to realize how bad it is.
The general populace is just starting to wake up to the problems of porn addiction and early porn exposure, and (with that realization) start to address the problem. It's a bit like smoking some generations back: we've started to see proof that it's bad for people, but it hasn't quite permeated into the public consciousness yet (let alone just *how* bad it is). That's a really good trend, and we did eventually marginalize smoking.

Though there's a few reasons to temper that optimism with caution. Millennials are the experimental group demonstrating how bad it is, but in the meantime gen Z and alpha got hit even harder; so it's likely to get worse before getting better. Also it's harder to pass on "porn is bad" lessons to children than it was to pass on "smoking is bad" lessons to children (because cigarettes are obvious in both usage and in being gross (while porn is more subtle)). Lastly, like abused children disproportionately becoming child abusers, early exposure porn addicts too often actively perpetuate the problem (which is a bigger problem than smokers convincing teens to smoke).
So it's not guaranteed to get better because it is a harder problem than smoking. Still, people are starting to wake up, so I have some hope for the coming generations (on this specific front), and even some hope for some of the current generations overcoming their addictions.

Sadly this won't help moderators or forum admins much, even if the median improves the peak degenerates will remain awful and in need of moderating, and even in my optimism we're talking about long-term improvement, the kind that takes years/decades/generations....

The performers are the attraction but not the selling point. Sex sells, and simps are more likely to give up their money, so the monetary game is about milking the simps. But like F2P games are about milking the whales, if your game sucks for normies then you don't get as many whales. If you want to move vtuber merch, it apparently needs to be sexy, but ALSO you need a performer with talents to attract an audience in the first place, most of whom won't ever give a single penny (I'd expect it to look similar to F2P game stats).

EDIT: but to be clear, I agree it's bad. But then, I'm not a merch buyer, so my preference doesn't matter.

Of course she wouldn't like it. Trannies are one of the main consumers of pornography as it's most likely to be the reason they transitioned in the first place. Anything that threatens them (and their future prospects vis-a-vis the Texas bill) affects her income as a producer of pornography
