General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I watched Mujin's video on the end of VShojo and he managed to make a case that Projekt Melody might have had more knowledge of what was happening in the company than the others without even mentioning the likely scenario that her boyfriend was a part of the C-suite at VShojo. He points out that when everyone was making their I'm leaving VShojo tweets they'd have a bunch of the other ex-members in their replies but when Melody made her tweet she had none of them in her replies. He also shows that she was the first person recruited and had a lot of influence at least in the early days. This starts around 1hr35min in.

I'm waiting for one of these people that he keeps having falling outs with to finally just say fuck it and admit what we all already know and just say zen is a man
Zen and Mouse no longer follow each other, so they’re was probably a behind the scenes split. I’ve seen speculation about it on twitter that it could be related to the Ari split, but nothing concrete.
Obligatory A
Melody made her tweet she had none of them in her replies
I don’t think this is great evidence. To my knowledge every ex vshojo from the implosion still follows her, which they don’t have to do now that they’re indie. Also melody response was a day or two later than everyone else’s except for Froot, who only had Matara in her replies. Silvervale also talked about how isolated everyone was at Vshojo, so I doubt they would know who was pulling the strings.

Well as disgusting as it is to draw someone it's fair parody.
Same if I wanted to draw a picture of any politician to mock them.
It's Randall behavior.
Not saying it should necessarily be taken down or that this is some "epic gotcha" on Rule34, but they host an image where cartoon representations of Silvervale and her mom are tortured to death or something. I didn't do a complete examination of it, only saw a glimpse/partial of the thumbnail and comments talking about what it is.

Context: it was made during the 'Hogwarts Legacy' controversy. Silvervale was seemingly targeted as a "show of force" to intimidate others from streaming the game. During the recent Vshoujo implosion, she has revealed that the company outright blamed and shamed her for getting bullied by internet freaks.

I still think vshojo was a pyramid scheme where the older talents tried to recruit more established talents fully knowing the company was in the red hoping they'd at least get paid. Melody for sure knew far more than she pretends she does.

He refollowed iron mouse after she got massive public support. They are all super fake, and definitely knew more than they let on.

They’ve now reunfollowed each other.

I think only Tectone mentioned Digit's screenshots once in one of his live streams.

Could anyone please recommend their favourites so I have something in the background whilst I work or draw?

I'm hoping that the recommendations think about kiki pyonpyon and the "I couldn't fight off rape" VTuber, and give me something on the completely opposite side of the spectrum.

Papa bless.
Dokibird + Mint collabs are always good, they have good chemistry and make each other laugh a lot. Dokibird + anybody really, as long as she's got somebody to bounce off of. Same for Chibidoki, she has a genuinely great comedic sense when she's riffing with somebody but left to her own devices she just makes the same five jokes and screams. The Dokibird + Chibidoki collab was fantastic imo.

Kirsche + marimari_en collabs are great because they're basically kiwifarmers, they just get sidetracked for hours talking about fucked up shit they saw online. Mari is the only one I can really listen to solo because she's weird enough to hold my attention but her voice is very inoffensive and easy to listen to. The Joe Pera of vtubers.

Sometimes I'll check in on filian to see what the zoomers are up to lately but I can't take that shit for long.

Yagoo and Fishman should settle this by allowing a fiddle-off collab betwixt the two.
Devil Went Down To Georgia would be kino but only if they do it live.

This is nice because it really just furthers what we all knew from the perspective of her banging the C-suite. It strengthens the case for both arguments being true.

I am unfamiliar here but I am guessing the account name in here is her boyfriend's?

If I understand the Saruei situation correctly, R34 don't have any right to complain; she owns the right to distribution of works she created herself, and also of works she commissioned as works for hire.
By default: the person who draws the picture owns the copyright, even if they were paid to do so. Of course, commission contract can include transfer of copyright (kind of mandatory if you want to use the thing for any kind of professional/for-profit purposes) but it is not automatic and usually carries an extra fee. If you're hired as an artist, your contract will say something like "anything you create as part of your job, we own" which can sound bit like "water is wet" but is actually a critical piece of legalese.
