It's going to be another Towa situation; western audiences love a scrappy underdog. I'm just glad it was only two weeks because it seems like the new gals are settling in pretty fast.

Meanwhile, at Niji, Yorumi Rena had her 3D debut and it got pretty cheesecakey as 3D debuts are likely to do.

Gen 5 made a short stream addressing her graduation. Botan and polka seemed to still have it together but Lamy is just short of broke down crying right there and then. My japanese isn't the best but what I get from this is the general consensus is that while it is a sad thing, the rest of the member will continue doing their best. They'll all take a day off from streaming today and will be back tomorrow with a smile.
Since this is a big deal, someone with better japanese will probably provide a more accurate translation video soon.

Gen 5 are apparently really close with each other, so I'm not surprised that this happened. Just look at any of the streams that they do together and you can see how genuine their camaraderie is.

Mel did get doxed and harassed and she still working for cover which suggest that they at least did something to help the problem, hopefully. So maybe aloe did quit out of her own volition. Since I'm obliviously biased against cover however, it's easier to just blame them and be done with it.

Mel wasn't doxed and harassed, the man stalking her was a member of Cover management. No need to dox someone when you can call them in to the office for a meeting that doesn't exist.

Cover corp. has since identified the perpetrator. He/she, using meetings as an excuse, repeatedly locked Mel in for long periods of time (often until morning) with conversations, often mixed with idle talk unrelated to work. This abuse of power was quickly responded to with the relief of his/her managerial role. However, the perpetrator did not relent, and continued to harass Mel with methods beyond Cover's administration.

Good God. It's bad enough when you have to deal with it from fans, but having a member of management doing the psycho stalker routine is ridiculous. At least something decisive was done about it.
