I'm starting to wonder if she was really a High Schooler this whole time, and that that was just part of the character. I know some people used to put out she was in college. Some of the info was leaning toward HS, but I wouldn't be surprised if she was studying the arts abroad. Knowledge of classical music, some history, and classics references. . . might lean more toward college education. My money is on Haachama being an art student.
Technically I called it proper modern art. No random shit thrown together as an exhibit or esoteric interpretive dance has made me question the artist more than her void stream did - the only reason we know she's still sane is that she kept producing content instead of getting tardwrangled to hell and back by her family and Cover.I was slightly skeptical to use the term before, but whoever called Haachama Hololive's equivalent of a performance artist is 100% on the mark at this point. The last week or so worth of streams have been amazing to read about, and I really have to go back and watch the archives.
Technically she graduated high school only recently, so I doubt she's even in college yet. Isn't that amazing? I almost doubt they could teach her anything. Creativity can't be taught and she certainly has it.My money is on Haachama being an art student.
Probably. Somewhere. Is there any other thread here that has so many hearts?
To be quite honest it's unlikely. Most things corroborate with her being her stated age, such as living with her parents, the whole thing about Hololive age policy and interactions with other members. It's very much easier for her to learn these things through interest, rather than to fake her age to such a great extent.I'm starting to wonder if she was really a High Schooler this whole time, and that that was just part of the character. I for one am very happy that she is deciding to return to the JP server, after supposedly being told to leave the EN server (probably half-a-rrat), and build the fucking TOWER of BABEL to assert dominance over the petty and lowly squabbles of the Akukin and Usada Kentetsu. The metaphorical representation of human arrogance, and she is building it over all of their achievements. If Sora is a goddess, this is Lucifer.
Lol she just graduated high school and it’s still unknown whether she will pursuit higher education or study abroad for college. My money is on Haachama being an art student.
That's a reference to another infamous "art student", isn't it?My money is on Haachama being an art student.
If we are using what JP blogs push out as well as Yagoo initial interview about Gen I of a high schooler currently living in Australia then Haachama check out as one of the young member of Hololive. The youngest one being Shion which mean that Shion’s “kusogaki” meme is not just a meme.I'm starting to wonder if she was really a High Schooler this whole time, and that that was just part of the character. It's kind of unbelievable that there's Australian students out there with Haachama as a classmate, there's a school in Japan with Shion as a student and there's another school with Calli as an English teacher. Not in the sense that idols and vtubers shouldn't have real lives, but that they somehow keep it under wraps without being recognized.Lol she just graduated high school and it’s still unknown whether she will pursuit higher education or study abroad for college.
People who have accounts on Kiwifarms are mentally ill.People who watch Vtubers are mentally ill.
Well, you're right, that info definitely checks out. But the strongest is definitely Yagoo's word. And I don't doubt it is innate talent, more that some of the references and the like seem more born from being exposed to it.If we are using what JP blogs push out as well as Yagoo initial interview about Gen I of a high schooler currently living in Australia then Haachama check out as one of the young member of Hololive. Also art and music can be innate talent without formal college education.
Sora did a stream a long time ago explaining about how most Hololivers used falsetto during stream. They are not using their real voices so the chance they get recognized is virtually zero. It's kind of unbelievable that there's Australian students out there with Haachama as a classmate, there's a school in Japan with Shion as a student and there's another school with Calli as an English teacher. I would agree with that if vtuber alternate accounts weren't constantly and repeatedly identified via their voice, and they didn't sing songs that likely require most of their vocal range. I'm not sure the situation with Matsuri and Shion, it could be a case of blocking the right people or an tacit understanding among friends.Sora did a stream a long time ago explaining about how most Hololivers used falsetto during stream. I doubt there are that many high schoolers watch Vtubers vs generic MOBA game streams. Plus Matsuri, and Shion are quite active on their personal Twitter and Insta accounts and it seems there’s no mix identity within their fans/circles.
Creativity can't be taught but it can be stunted. Creative types should strive to surround themselves with like-minded individuals, not for inspiration but to foster those skills further through challenge.Isn't that amazing? I almost doubt they could teach her anything. Creativity can't be taught and she certainly has it.
Where do you think we are?People who watch Vtubers are mentally ill.
Matsuri and Shion fans and friends seem to already know what’s up and they seem to not pay any attention to the trolls (don’t feed the troll). The only girl who make a mistake and feed the trolls were Rushia (though she reevaluate her strategy and adopt what other do right now).I would agree with that if vtuber alternate accounts weren't constantly and repeatedly identified via their voice, and they didn't sing songs that likely require most of their vocal range. While I cited schools as the three examples, there are certainly other things they do, aren't there? Office work, travelling and simply buying groceries are all possible ways they can get caught. If Suisei is an example, it seems her family (and some extended family) knows, but doesn't post about it anywhere.
so haachama is a literal schizo now?
Now I get why Yagoo praised haachama and used her as an example, that girl really knows how to stay relevant after all this time
While others only used Vtubers as a medium for entertainment, a tool to hide their identity/face, or even something akin to a fursona, Haato took it to the next level. For her, being Vtubers is like a medium for performance art. Making a lore out of your character and staying consistent on it is one thing, but to play two different characters at once with lore, twist, arcs, and consistency is way above anyone's league. I'm not joking if I say she might be one of the smartest and the most creative talent Cover has with these stunts she pulled, perhaps even one of the best out of all Vtubers in general on that department.I was slightly skeptical to use the term before, but whoever called Haachama Hololive's equivalent of a performance artist is 100% on the mark at this point. I see the idiots roaming around, and yeah she just ignores it. Real question though, for the class, do you think Lyger knows about her roommate, or is he too obsessed with Matsuri to contemplate that? I haven't delved into his history more than passing but that is potential for the mother-of-all meltdowns.Matsuri
Didn't even think about that reference. . . nice. Also, the fact that she has an active Instagram where she drums up her (not unrespectable) looks to Moe-Princess levels probably doesn't help. She's a living waifu. . . kind of like Sora Amamiya, but for less civilized men (insert wink face).Rushia, the real live Eli Ayase,
Her, and to a large extent Coco earlier in her time, really pushed the envelop on what was acceptable in the medium and how it could progress. I would also add that Matsuri was probably and important piece at making the medium more personal. If the former two made it more of a show. . . she definitely engaged the parasocial aspect and brought it to the viewer. It is why I have a lot of respect for her as well.I'm not joking if I say she might be one of the smartest and the most creative talent Cover has with these stunts she pulled, perhaps even one of the best out of all Vtubers in general on that department.
And it's not surprising why other Hololive girls respects her. She is very young yet she is very creative compared to other Hololive talents. I can think of Haato pulling off stuff she have done, but I don't think other VTubers could do the same thing. While others only used Vtubers as a medium for entertainment, a tool to hide their identity/face, or even something akin to a fursona, Haato took it to the next level.
