You can still block him in Livetl so his stupid ass doesnt appear, block him for translations

Screenshot_267.png

He doesnt do anything in 30 minutes in except clutter LiveTL with his ramblings so blocking him is recommended

Nah i got her in my notifications

I got her notification but if I were to filter my main YT page by "subscriptions" her stream doesn't show up for me despite being live. She shows up just fine in the sidebar list so YT is just being fucking weird again.

Either way I stand by what I said about Gura ages ago since I'm listening to her now: she's fine as a content creator but to me she seems very safe and almost milquetoast. Definitely not as outrageous as some of the other girls but at least she's consistent.

  • Agree
Reactions: Blatant hypocrite
She mentioned not wanting to fight the robots a few different times and asked if there was a different route. I have a feeling this'll be an ongoing theme and may even kill her run at some point.
As in she doesn’t enjoy the fighting mechanics, or she feels guilty about it?

Because if it‘s the latter, I definitely had parts where I felt the same (the foundry near the end, for example) and to avoid spoiling anyone I’ll just say that that’s definitely done intentionally and is a major theme of the game, so if she’s picking up those vibes early, I can’t blame her.

Definitely the latter. She expressed finding the enemy robots cute the moment she first sees them.

Part of me wants to believe the only reason they got permissions to play it in the first place is that Yoko Taro is chuckling to himself someplace, watching real girls play virtual girls playing a game about virtual girls fighting other virtual girls in order to save real girls.

Botan’s building death coasters.

I do have to admit, I can understand how something like lyger can happen.

the first couple times I had a vtuber sing a song I requested, or call out a comment I made, I was super flattered. And there’s one streamer I like and regularly leave supportive comments for, and when she started liking my posts regularly, I was glad that she appreciated my support, and it meant I started vocally supporting her even more... and if you’re doing something ‘important‘ like translating or clipping, I’m sure it’s even easier to fall into that trap of wanting to be helpful. but it’s important to realize that you’re there to appreciate them (and it’s nice that they appreciate your support), you’re not there to put yourself over.

The problem with lyger is that he isnt content with being a super Matsuri fan, he goes out of his way to shit talk other translators and try to put them down.

Does anybody else have the impression that Matsuri *knows* that Lyger is a problem but let him get too deep and now doesn't wanna do anything about him cuz she's afraid of any of the repercussions?
I dont think shes afraid, more like she cant be assed and/or hasnt realized the extent of the damage.

I was also one of the retards who liked Lyger before I lurked here.

I always wonder why Matsuri who's prolly the one of gateway to Hololive due to her band-aid clip and that Mario parody game clip(hardworking girls are Cute!), has admittedly low number of concurrent viewers. You think with how viral she was with the clips, she would have live viewers numbers around 5k+ and yet she barely scrapes by around 1-3k viewers for some reason. I doubt people really complained about too much APEX considering other girls play APEX as frequent and still manages to get higher viewer numbers than Festival here so there is some external cause for her low number, which all evidence point at Lyger who's been appropriating people for "misrepresenting" Matsuri.

Matsuri needs to drop his mod status but she won't because she's too busy simping for Hoshikawa to give a rat's ass about him. If she didn't block him for his poor attempts to follow her roommate, then she won't do anything.

Gotta say, I still laugh at the time when Matsuri announced she's taking a minor break, Lyger's the first one came to her defense on reddit by saying "chat has been behaving badly about Apex, shame on you" and then she revealed the reason is for about personal matters(friend accident or sumthin). Too bad reddit being hugbox meant EOPs forgive lyger for being stupid instead of point and laugh.

I wonder what the Nip bros think about him.

Anyway here's a clip where Moona cried and Risu "Oh I died, take the picture of my dead body plez".

Apparently is a problem with Coco and not Hololive because this is Gura stream right now and Bugs are getting squashed left and right
Coco has the problem that her chat has 'legit' spam, e.g. kusa and emojis. It's a fairly hard programming problem to solve if you don't have experience. While Gura can just do a 'simple' regex like ^(.*?)$\s+?^(?=.*^\1$) to remove duplicate messages.

i think from matsuri side, she feel its not that easy. it feel like she being hold as a hostage, there is no way she didn't acknowledge his present as a stalker or hardcore fans. she decided not to respond cause it kinda feel like feeding the troll, what idk is, is it because she get threatened if she do something stupid, Lyger going apeshit irl? since i believe he already have any contact information about her, her habit what time she went to toilet, or going to supermarket etc. and decided to shut up or rather she has been telling to management or police but they cant do shit because he hasnt doing anything yet.

Lyger need to realised he himself what make matsuri lose the spotlight now. i barely saw any recent clip of her, more likely 2 weeks or a month ago. well maybe the latest is with ollie but nothing pop up again
One thing hololive gets right is the anonymity bits where they won't even show the girls' hands and have to get management approval even for showing pictures of food. It gives off the idea that their characters aren't necessarily normal flesh-and-blood human performers in real life but rather they're anime characters existing in the real world. I still can't get over how fucking brilliant this short piece of marketing was for their pop-up shop in Akihabara.
i think it become standart regulation from agency to protect their talent, especially since it's "idol" talent

funny to think they switch into this kind management when many of the talent even the staff not acknowledge that they working as idol agency, they though it just your regular streamer behind an avatar, but again maybe like you said either Yagoo or Hololive goals are to really make 2D girl turn into real life. then the best approach is to make the idol-type like girl, who "pure" and kawaii moe girl. and it's kinda work...

also thanks to you introducing me to the velocaptor vtuber channel,

i get the gist he just a shitposter and just try to make it become a streamer i guess.. even in general i guess in japan, vtuber mean no shit, like nothing different than a normal streamer with png in the corner for an excuse not showing your irl face but they want to show their expression to the watcher or just.. hide the face. like what has been discussed back in hundred pages ago i guess. then this tba vtuber or anyone think its brand new thing and different from being a normal streamer.

All this talk about Matsuri feeling threaten or afraid of repercussion, but I just think she doesn't engage with EoP fans enough to realize that one of her English mega simp is borderline stalker. It's more likely that she doesn't know at all that person making clip and traslating her content also make a thing called "Masturi Monitor", go around threaten other people from literally talking anything that isn't a song of praise, and act like a king of Matsuri's simp.

So let me get this clear, Haachama and Mel's cooking both had to be directly approved by management?
Is gura shadowbanned? I cant seem to see her live in my subscription page when i filter live.
Sometimes it just glitches. YouTube, for being a massive tech company still has random basic problems like this and chat not being saved properly, not replaying properly, etc.

It certainly fits his style of humor. I wonder if he'd watch the stream?
