I didn't say/mean Senzawa's YouTube channel got popular because of Hololive (And I'd say 850k is "just under 1 million" like I said originally), I just gave her as an example of someone who gained subs because of it. Just not to the extent of kson who more than doubled due to it. And I'm not trying to diminish kson's accomplishments, she's a great content creator in her own right.

It's kind of difficult for Sachiowo to gain subscribers considering she DFE'd and the majority of content left is 30-second clips.

As a doctor, I just gotta point out that ménières is pretty well researched (though not completely mechanically figured out) but not in the "psychosomatic" corner like fibromyalgia, so please don't spout anti-vacc tier conspiracy retardedness about medicine when you have a basic internet forum level of knowledge. Just stick to discussing anime girls.

Edit: Also, fun fact, the risk of it going bilateral is about 25%, but it usually debuts around the age of 40, so assuming Kanata is not that old I'd say her risk of going fully deaf at some point is relatively high.

Edit2: To elaborate a bit on why your "suspicion" is wrong, ménières does not just cause hearing problems, in fact it has a pretty unmistaken clinical manifestation of recurring crippling attacks of vertigo and nausea that can last for hours or even days (among some other things). The diagnostic process is also one of eliminating differential diagnoses, not just making a guess and going for it. The hearing damage comes from nerve damage after every attack, which is why it is permanent.

Keep in mind that since she's a corporate turn independent vtuber, her social media account used to belong to the company, they held it hostage over her due to payment dispute in fact, which led to a long hiatus in the past. She only announced that she now has full control of the character on twitter a few months back.
Is this a sabotage from her former company, a meltdown trigger because she saw some unsavory comments or an effort to boost her channel? Whatever the case, the fans reaction on twitter seem to mostly be a mix of amuse and puzzlement, so this might even be an inside joke that someone who doesn't watch her will not get.

Im sorry mate but tinnitus cause by stress is more of this "fibro" tier diseases than menierre, hell there is even more evident for fibromyalgia than there is for tinnitus cause by stress. Also one of the symptoms for menierre is tinitus so we cant just diagnose something as just tinitus without knowing any other associating symptom.
Also do you think a doctor that specialized in ENT wouldn't know how to differentiate tinitus and menierre.

Just to piggy-back on the smart-people and point out another glaring flaw. Tinnitus is 100% common in one ear as opposed to being in both. I actually have minor tinnitus in my right ear due to a loud-damaging-sound coming from my right side. I really should jump on that totally real ear-protection suit facebook keeps telling me is a thing. Shit-eating budget.
