Part of the vtubers' charm is the fact that they stay the fuck away from politics and provide escapism for the viewers, but Futakuchi Mana either didn't get this memo or decided to ignore it:

I could somewhat understand an indie wanting to use their influence and platform to raise awareness about a niche issue (not that I'd recommend doing so but I could see why someone might make the decision to do that). What I don't understand is staking out a public position on something that's basically mainstream news and doesn't need any additional public awareness.

Futakuchi Mana has somewhat accomplished the rare feat of having the toxic combination of the "Fuck-you-I-don't-give-a-fuck-aren't-I-a-badass?" pretentiousness common in young metalheads with the loud, compulsive need to virtue signal of SJWs and the Left.

I like her metal covers but bitch, fucking get over yourself. I'm almost at the point where I see her references to herself as a "vtuber" as a grift. Five months in with 59k+ subs and your channel content mostly consists of a handful of metal covers and shitpost videos? Come on.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe Calli ever followed her. Closest thing IIRC was chat asking Mana if she knew about Calli during her debut, and then talking among themselves about how cool it would be IF they collabed in the future (standard topic pretty much).

In order to join V-Shojo, she'd have to do some actual V-Tuber stuff, though, right? All she does is shitpost and rarely ever does she sing or do a cover of a song. I may be wrong, but the V-Shojo tubers at least interact with their audience. Mana interacted twice I think, and those two streams were quite a time away from each other. She is a V-Tweeter, and will forever be a V-Tweeter, not even good enough to join the ranks of V-Shojo.
