Always wishing the holoGals a happy and healthy future, but I have to say the timing and even delivery was odd. She didn't say personal reasons or similar things, but rather for reasons she cant talk about and spoke about staying positive (as opposed to it being positive). With the way Kaichou is, it seems like all this cryptic phrasing and 3 week notice, somethings gotta be afoot.
Also, fuck China. Like, all of it. I'll reserve judgement on this specifically, but this smells of Hololive capitulating to chinese shrimp dicks and could become a snowball. Maybe Coco will come to the states, join Vshojo and does shitpost reviews here (one can dream). There is a reason the HoloEN sub count rocketed past JP, and it's not because china is the safer bet Clover.

This probably isn't a chink issue, Cover stood up for her too much to just drop out like that all of a sudden. With that said, the chinks are absolutely gonna get wind in their sails now; Haachama should probably up her mod team.
I'd argue it might be that both sides got too tired of Coco trying to kickstart change and fighting for it. She tried initiating a lot of things, like the Holohouse, or getting Cover to set up Streamlabs donations. She's also mentioned in the past that as an outsider, her attitude to the Japanese work culture is different from the norm, since if she's rejected, she'd rather have a meeting about it than bow down. Chances are that she tried suggesting something that she thought was a basic need for the girls, got completely rejected, and that ended up being the straw that broke the camel's back.

I'd agree if it was any other illness or injury.
Dementia doesn't get better as times goes on it gets worse. You can't just say I'm gonna take a break for 2 weeks or 2 months and come back when everything is better. There isn't going to be a better.
It's a slow process that takes years.
However this is just my rrat and I'm just trying to grasp at straws because I'm pretty fucking sad.

It was only a month or two ago that she broke down crying on stream and Kanata rushed in from the other room to comfort her. I think she was drinking at the time but I definitely remember that a big reason for her outburst was the spam getting to her. She might very well have been thinking about this for a long time.

So it's auto translate, and janky as hell, so this is all not gospel. According to this data, Cover was pissed off that Coco annoyed the Chinese shareholders. I'm still thinking whether or not this is because of the chinks. It's possible, but not exactly plausible. The chinks won't forget and won't forgive a slight to their "race and country", so Cover graduating Coco to get back into the good graces of the bugmen. The japanese should have known it better that once you burned bridge with china, you can't just rebuild it
