General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Reine trying her best to contains Coco
This is way more fun than I would have imagined. They're trolling the shit out of each other - Reine keeps mixing languages ("Buenos oyasleep") and denying it two seconds later. Coco then threatens to have turkey for dinner and "stuff [Reine] from the bottom", and asking to learn words like "fisting" and "butthole" in Indonesian.

Honestly, the more I watch Reine, the more I like Reine. This wouldn't work if she wasn't playing her role perfectly.

3. Manga Artist/Vtuber's Mama

This is definitely the category which is going to blow up, and not so much for individual streaming as franchise advertisement. For example, besides the obvious ability of getting an artist's name out there and noticed, you can expand the concept (as has already been dabbled in) into the realm of anime voice actors or show cast; having people actually appear as their 2D characters in interviews or at conferences is incredible marketing potential, especially given it can be done from the person's own house. Expect many production committees to start exploring adding vtubing to their marketing strategies as the past year or so has shown the potential of the medium.

It's why IMO the next big step isn't who winds up occupying what niche in the streaming ecosystem, but which ecosystem vtubing finds fertile ground to grow into.

German vtuber Graf Karen did a Duolingo challenge where she was studying basic lessons from many different languages. There is a list of the languages in the pinned comment, so you can check if your language is featured there and how good (or bad) she managed to pronounce it.

Pekora's party just got wiped out by Majima and Saejima, gotta love it.
I'm so excited when she gets to face off against Kiryu
I’ve seen that happen to a lot of people. I’m just happy I got to see her reaction to Majima live.

Quick edit: Summing it up, Ina is selling herself short but also missing while somehow grasping that she's an entertainer with amazing artistic talents. She's just a bit confused about the point of art streams and showing some signs of self doubt.

Conclusion: Tako girl needs to relax a bit and eat some sweets, she's beating herself up too much.
This really hits close to home given that artists are often the harshest on themselves. I guess she just really wants to make an impact and be remembered/standout as an artist, so she ca say she is content with what she is doing.
Ame's creativity continues to be astounding.

I wouldn't have imagined Ina to be a Gundam/Gunpla fan, so this is neat. Has she elaborated on this before?

Char's Counterattack is an amusing choice for a watchalong, considering how messy of a movie it is. Even when I was sure to watch everything in production order, CCA still blindsided me by starting in the middle of a brand new war out of nowhere, followed by some baffling narrative decisions over the course of the movie. I'd especially feel bad for the people who'd be watching it for the first time for the watchalong without being familiar with the preceding story of the Universal Century. Though the Nu Gundam and Sazabi are fucking baller regardless.

Unfortunately, it seems to me that now is a bad time to be getting into Gunpla, especially as an international consumer. The supply of model kits is totally fucked at the moment even for the ordinarily-common stuff, making the prices you pay exorbitant unless you're carefully monitoring monthly restocks for preorder. For example, this is 3500 yen MSRP:

Well, Ina did say one of her favorites animes is Gundam 00 (I agree) during her debut stream. As for Gunpla models, have you tried searching from local stores or Amazon (or any equivalent of it)?
For Watson its probably because if it wasn't for Cover she'd just be another streamer. Being dirt poor I imagine she didn't have the funds to try out all the creative things she comes up with especially living in LA. I mean before Cover she had been streaming for a few years already right? It's crazy how just some exposure can change literally everything.

It's because of this I don't think Ame will ever leave Cover unless she wants to start a family or is fired. She's way too grateful, they literally changed her life.
Changed for the better too, even her personality shows that.
And Kiara’s last stream before her week break is gonna be an unarchived karaoke one.
Let the rrats of Ina visiting Kiara and them "hanging out" start.
Coco is enjoying torturing Reine, and tbh looks like she's drunk lol
Coco be pushing the "Seiso" to the point of Yabai

New Hologra. Won't spoil it by saying anything else, but it's a pretty good one.

HoloLore rrats:
- Pekora practicing how she'll consult her people in pekoland
- Rushia got bored of living
- TMT is a fallen angel, so she does deal with it or something
- Good doggo is actually a literal hellhound
- How tf does a snow elf freeze?

I know Matsuri has the hots for Hoshikawa and all but I still thought it was a kind of kayfabe

I got a personal rrat that one day, either she'll be Ina-mama or Nagu-mama for another gen in Hololive.
When questioned about being a mama, Ina said that if she were to be one, it would be after she stopped being a vtuber as, by her own words, being a mama is a huge responsibility and she wants to do it right. So, I would certainly prefer it to happen later than sooner.

Didn't that actually happen between a chuuba and their BF? The zombie one if I remember right.
No, it didn't actually happen. Some people here actually thought it happened too, but it was just zombie being scared af of horror games, and a lot of "weaving" to make the rrat believable.
