She almost blew herself up; and in exchange for not doing that, she has now an alien tattoo while owning a favor to god-knows-what lovecraftian entity.
You can mess up in many different ways than loosing a bunch of hitpoints.
Yeah, but deals with the old gods are future Watoto's problem. I'm just saying she got through without getting beat down like Ina or Kiara.

I don't think the TTRPG stuff is for me, I found it unwatchable. I hate it when a naturally funny person (Amelia) forces themselves to play an unfunny character devoid of any personality. Cringe is fine as long as it's self-aware, this ain't it.

I'm fairly certain a full-on English translation for Mayuzumi's broadcast hasn't been posted here yet, so might as well do so just in case.

It honestly makes me wonder just how much merch like voice packs does he actually push, especially when he doesn't even keep SC on, to be able to have this sort of event. Apparently ALTA Vision in itself is a fairly major deal to get something like this on in Tokyo, and they even covered the Shibuya Crossing on top of that. Not only that, but the outfit looks pretty sick, too.

Thanks for that. The video I got was so quiet I actually missed some of what he said.
His new costume was edgy af, can't believe the same person designed Ex Albio. Maybe it's recency bias but I can really see the SMT influence there. Also the design philosophy seem to go back to the old way, this one is a whole package deal instead of different elements that can be mix and match at will. Still looks awesome though. I really want to see if the wing thing behind his back can really be incorporated into the model for normal streaming or just concept art.

Looks another animatior dips their toes into the vtuber craze now.

Spicing it up with best Kettle, we need more clips and bits from Pikamee. Quality gold material comes from her now.

She's like a crackhead Gura mixed with Korone's english skills. Quite lovely!

It do be like that, looks a lot like that shirtless nigga from SMT who kills demons and shit.

Amelia and Calli's TTRPG Watotorial is live.

I was looking forward to Amelia's session the most, but boy has she turned out the be the worst player so far despite the potential of her character Watoto. The in-character mannerisms and quips are fine, but she ultimately played even more passively than Ina (who at least has the excuse of playing an inherently-passive character), simply letting Calli take the wheel the entire time while only taking infrequent action in very brief, in-character statements. It's not like she was actively dodging plot hooks like Ina, but was rather inputting the bare minimum amount of effort. I saw an apt statement on /vt/ likening this session to Amelia playing a text adventure computer game. While amusing at first, it's a real detriment that I don't believe Amelia broke character a single time to explain an action in detail or think aloud about any given situation and what she ought to do, information that would've been valuable to Calli.

With the likelihood that Amelia is very knew to TTRPGs, I partially blame Calli for this outcome in a tutorial session. Calli was content with doing all the lifting (not just the heavy) when she should've squeezed more participation out of Amelia. She didn't even necessarily need to make blunt criticism in the middle of the session ("You know you can do things on your own, right?"), but rather could've just asked Amelia what she wanted to do more often followed by asking how she wanted to do it. With enough repetition, this may have gotten Amelia take more agency in the story being told.

Miscellaneously, Amelia was audibly way too quiet compared to Calli, and I hate that she outright described Watoto as being green rather than his "goblin-likeness" being more about his physique.

I hope Amelia and Calli actually see the criticisms past the suck-ups and easily-impressed so that they can improve. It'd be rather unfortunate of Kiara ends up being the only go-getter player in the party.

I gotta say..Ame's tutorial was the most boring for me. As great as her character sounded during the pitch..it came off awfully dull. She barely spoke, she did everything Callie wanted and she aced every roll. Almost nothing interesting happened the entire stream. I mean there was the Wyrm stuff..but that doesn't come into play right now.

I literally just watched it and I already remember more about the other two streams than hers. Such a shame really. I expected more chaos from the most chaotic of the girls.

I wonder if Callie had more plans for Vic in this one. He played a much bigger part in the last streams. Ame probably sidestepped that plot point somehow. Yuul showing up at the end was a nice touch though.

She might be better once she has everyone else to play off of.

People that are complaining about this session, did not notice that Calli wanted to avoid almost killing Amelia like she did with Yuul, also this is standard procedure in 40k if you play Orks, i actually enjoyed it, the most fun part was people screaming in horror when she got the mark of the Wyrm

Also for the 10000000000000 time, is a TUTORIAL is supposed to be boring because is just a test scenario to teach the mechanics to the new players

I didnt watch it, but did Amelia try to run over Vic like Ina did or anything remotely stupid?

I enjoyed Ame's tutorial overall, mostly for the stupid base premise and Calli doing a great job leading her along and crafting a good scenario.
However, Ame's roleplaying did get grating... I know what she wanted to do, but this won't work in the long run. She at least needs to act out her actions better and have some agency even if Watoto continues to be a one-note deranged hillbilly conspiracy nut.
The meme just doesn't have the same staying power as Kiara's energy and Ina's endearing character, so I was glad that the session was shorter. Did make for great fan-content, tho.

She traded mushrooms for a gun and tried joining fellow tinfoil-buddies in bombing big pharma and later almost blew herself up.

Yeah. She did mention that this is the first time she has ever played a TTRPG, if I remember right. That might not sound like much of an excuse, but from personal experience, being new to something like this can be quite overwhelming. Combine that with her natural tendency to censor herself when in group activities and you wind up with someone a bit passive.

It's kind of funny. Ina's session, I felt was sub par because she completely ignored all plot hooks for the first three quarters of it. Part of which might be Calli's fault for not starting off with the Professor hook, which is what Ina clearly wanted to do.

Ame, on the other hand, just went right along with everything Calli said. The complete opposite problem. Also... Watoto is kind of an annoying person at the moment. Hopefully Ame realizes that and looks for opportunities for character development. Getting some English lessons might be a good start.

Not sure how Gura will be, but I imagine they'll all start getting used to it once they play some more sessions. Being in a group will probably help too. Ina and Ame can balance each other out and Kiara will hopefully have someone pulling her down just a smidge, though I did enjoy her session the most of the three we have seen so far.

I didnt watch it, but did Amelia try to run over Vic like Ina did or anything remotely stupid?
She made a pact with almost literal satan. Or maybe worse than satan.

Edit: As a side note, I do hope Calli isn't putting in more than she can chew. It can be a lot of fun to have a million different things going on all at once, but it requires a whole lot more work to do right than a narrower focus. Having vampires, True Fae (and changelings?), werewolves, oWoD lore, frat boy hunters, conspiracies abound, and at least three plot hooks for each character, none of which seem too related to each other, plus whatever we get from Gura's start might be just a bit much.

its kinda why I told anyone willing to listen to me to avoid taking anything from China in terms of vaccines. They were too good at keeping the bug down, they ran out of their own people to test with.. so the world/vaccine diplomacy is their petri dish.
This is why typical Murica is too stupid to live. The rest of the world charge money if their people want to take Made in EU or made in US vaccine while SinoVac is offered free of charge. The cost for those premium vaccine can goes from $50 to $100+ with Pfizer being the most expensive. This mean only the 1% of the population of those countries can afford.

On the other hand, US will vaccinate those who can travel to US for free since they have to stay at minimum 14+ days in US anyway (all those money they bring to US for travel is offset the cost anyway since US govt pay dirt cheap for those vaccine shots). At this rate, HoloJP girls can just take a summer vacation in US if they want to take vaccine quick vs wait in line.

It's precisely because it was a tutorial that Calli should've been encouraging Amelia to take more agency and not just skate by with the occasional in-character quip, especially during much of the session in which Watoto wasn't in any danger.

With the likelihood that Amelia is very knew to TTRPGs, I partially blame Calli for this outcome in a tutorial session. I think Ame was expecting a more DnD based world from the way she described her character instead of the pseudo-realistic world that is WoD and needs time to adjust and maybe another sitdown with Cali to get a better understanding of the universe they're in. Especially since she described herself as green and making magic mushrooms that literally make you invisible. Probably had the idea of a goblin alchemist instead of actually being just some small weird drug dealer.

Ah well, it was a weak showing on Ame's part especially since she tends to hold herself back in collabs, but that's what these tutorials are for.
