Safe to say I'm really happy with OBSYDIA.

Rosemi is probably going to need more time to get comfortable as she seemed to laugh a lot to fill in time. That's a common thing (oh how quickly we forget Nene's 'haaaaah~n' debut), so I'm not too concerned. Given how many times she's been through this debut and graduation schtick, though, I'm shocked she's nervous at all. She has more experience than most.

It's pointless to talk about the specifics because we already know and can freely talk about her past life. We know Rosemi is going to be a rage gamer, we know she's going to play fighting games and Minecraft, and we can probably anticipate Yandere ASMR streams.

Actually how many roommates or whatever has Rosemi had? I'm only aware of Miki and the rat girl from Tsunderia.

well the 3d live were all pre-recorded to begin with, im guessing they were done weeks in advance due to the covid situation there and how hard it is to match schedules between members. Judging from matsuri's sperging, it could be that hers was done before rushia's anniversary live. That's why even if haato suddenly becomes available for matsuri's concert, they can't make the last minute change just for the two of them to share a stage, as the recording session is already over and it'd be a hassle to just redo their part.

Im more concerned on haachama's part as she 's got a lot on her plate right now. Matsuri being the older one here should've known better not to add more mental burden to her young and unstable co-worker. I know matsuri has a soft spot for haato and that's why her sperging came from an emotional place.

I hope this wont stir up anything big though, I really like the Haato-Matsuri pairing.

Well I can’t watch sadly, but I’m glad that the feds didn’t get to the totally unrelated moth who happens to be ranting about the same things. I’ll have to see how PC handles the rabbit, but it sounds like I’ll have to swap which site is getting 5 bucks so far. I gotta admit that vacation is nice but missing this whole saga of “The Rabbit, the Moth, and the Dark Build-a-Bear Underground” is still a shame.

Long time lurker (about 1 month), decided to finally post. Had to read a couple of pages back since been busy at home. I have to say that this is probably the weirdest place to find balanced discussion in terms of vtubers. Reddit tends to be too much of a hugbox and /vt/ is /vt/.



Eh, being a family doesn't mean you don't argue at all. Let's not forget that Matsuri is a menhera who got mad at Luna for forgetting about her fake birthday last year. Also, Haachama is no stranger to stuff like this too. Remember when she ghosted Watame for months because she felt bad about not being able to finish a song for the sheep's birthday on time and Watame thought she hated her for some reason. That shit was Anime-levels of misunderstanding that I didn't think was possible in real life.

Also, I want to double check on a rrat from vt. Petra seems to not actually be Sachi but another indie vtuber called Rie. And then this got posted on/vt/

I vaguely remember Petra trying to push for one of her tags to be Petraonair which she thankfully didn't go through. I have to say though that I'm kinda wary about this one. Rosemi is good but the others we're a bit of a letdown. To be frank, the only person I really watched in Nijisanji was Lulu. Gibara got me into the rabbithole but since her activities lessened, it was Hololive (specifically Korone) that kept me in it. WIth both Gibara and Lulu gone, Rosemi's probably the only one I'll even consider watching. But with this possible(?) wrinkle added I'm not so sure anymore. Can someone talk me off the ledge here.

In regards to your first point, I agree. Families donfight, but not the incredibly sanitised, Idol 'family' the Reddit hugbox and JP unicorns insist Hololive is. Negativity is prohibited. The girls go through crushing mental health problems but have to keep mum about it so as not to rock the boat too hard.

In regards to your SECOND point, yes I also found on /vt/ Rie apologising and supporting the One China Policy. I also agree that Cover Corp are still on record for saying they also support it and never actually dialed that one back. Cover's hand was forced to back out of the CN market. People have to bend the knee and especially if you're an indie you don't really have much choice.

Certainly in a vacuum, seeing this apology and recalling all the Coco bullshit does not involve positive feelings, but Niji as a company have yet to break ties with CN and to be honest it's too lucrative for them. Let it be known that Niji streamers have also mentioned Taiwan on stream and received no repercussions for it, but for a company with over 180 members they are exceptionally well-drilled on not implicating yourself in communist bullshit.

Not every Chinese fan is a CCP drone, especially on YouTube where most of them are from other areas. That's just reality, and the likes of Selen and Petra especially deem English as their native tongue so I can't imagine them ACTUALLY harbouring any CCP values. Most multi-million companies yield to China, I'm not going to begrudge an Indie for doing the same.


As for talking you off the ledge. Nijisanji is vast, and I actually couldn't recommend everyone I wanted to even if I sperged a whole list here. For a Holo-Only, their brand and way of operating may be a barrier to entry that takes a couple of attempts to really get your feet wet in, but the company isn't lacking in really entertaining and really talented members. Gibara and Lulu were stellar, but they're not the only ones.
