Cantonese came from Southeastern China, so there's still a possibility she's from mainland. Note however that the Cantonese is also used by the chinese diaspora in other parts of the world like SEA or the US. But yes the possibility is much higher that she's from Hong Kong or Macau. Makes you wonder where she stands on the whole HK thing

Given that her roommate is an advocate for more women in gaming, calls out people for tracing art, is in circles streamers and people who are all about their pronouns, my guess is that she's left-leaning and would be in favour of HK independence.

That's just my guess though.

EDIT: I remember her discussing languages as DokiBird and she seems to imply only her parents are of Chinese origin which probably means she herself is American/Canadian-born.

We joke, but honestly, what other explanation would there be for her tweeting that within 30 minutes of my post? I genuinely think that it is confirmation of her now actively lurking the thread. The odds of that being a coincidence are incredibly low, especially because the bismeowrck account isn't very active and tweets are often days/weeks apart - her last Tweet before this was over a week ago, on July 12th, so it would be insane if she randomly decided to come back and post that information specifically with no other influence.

Another possibility is that someone she knows told her about the post, but that's not as interesting. Let me have my fun

I've always thought Huke did her a little dirty, though I don't know how much input a new Hololive vtuber has in their design. Her character is well drawn but I can see why people don't like the smug face with the huge grin. The lil sword and shield are out of place and look silly.

I like her manic energy, hope HoloEN2 have more extroverts. Irys works for me.

I prefer her second outfit a thousand times more than the OG one.
Kiara as a character is always wearing skimpy clothing, but with the second one it almost makes sense, I don't find the first one appealing.
