You remember their onsen trip which they indeed described in a lot of detail. Juiciest highlight being Noel wearing “battle nightwear” as far as I remember. This is as vanilla as it gets.

The only lesbo pair that I’m aware of that seem to be legit are Tomoe and Kana from nijisanji who do a lot of hands on stuff.

How can you tell that they are actual lovers and not playing it up for entertainment purposes? I can’t. And I don’t think that legitimacy even matters that much.

I think you can say they're more serious than general Yuri-baiting pair because they talk about their relationship problem. Kana once said that she she had a fight somewhat with Tomoe said she want to keep their shipping stuff out of their actual relationship and that upset Kana somewhat. The detail is obviously unknown, but it seems to be like the two are serious enough to not let character and entertainment pairing interfere with their actual relationship. In the same vein, NoelFlare recently come out with the announcement that going forward they won't refer to each other as Husband-Wife anymore. They feel that it isn't right to call each other that when both of them are feminine and take care of each other equally and not have one of them "wear the pants" in their relationship. Going forward, they refer to something similar to "partner" or "soulmate". Sound serious enough for me.

The closest thing was NoeFure but, as I understand it, that got shot to shit last week when Flare made an effort to distance herself from it just a touch.

I'm sure they're fine with the ship but as soon as it enters the territory of assuming the people BEHIND the characters are the exact same way, that's usually when you start seeing pushback.

Hell, it's not even a V-Tuber thing. One of the core reasons One Direction split up in their 'prime' is because fans were so adamant that some of the members were secretly dating one another and it became too suffocating to continue working together.

People just have a tendency to ruin things they love for no discernable reason.

I know that pairing was pushed from the start, but she genuinely seems to be someone who fell hard for a co-worker, who subsequently (and probably repeatedly) straight up declined her advances. You can occasionally hear the genuine hurt leak out in Kiara's voice every so often when the subject comes up, and I can't see myself giving her too much credit for being that good of a method actor. She obviously pushes her shipping shit way too fucking hard, and knowing Karen's fucked up past, I can see how uncomfortable she would be with the whole situation.

Keeki has been through some truly fucked up shit in her long, cursed quest for idolhood, and I'm not going to shit on anyone for seeking out love, but Jesus she doesn't know the meaning of the word tact (probably a European thing). She can't possibly be this menhara in real life (one can hope, anyways), but I doubt her idol business experiences have left her a stable individual. I genuinely feel bad for how twisted of a life Karen has had to experience, and how she copes (or doesn't cope: shitloads of cheap wine, anyone?) with it. She's headed straight for a life of alcoholism just like both her parents if she doesn't wise up and find a healthier way of coping with her neuroses. I think that's why people perceive her as 'uninterested' in most things. She spends all of her time keeping her feelings locked away, and rarely lets them loose. Too bad it makes her appear too damned stiff and wooden.

I glad she said that. Watching the second TTRPG session, it's too obvious that Mori is giving the hunter way too much freebies, especially for Watoto wild antics. Watoto stop climbing to high ground and instead use his "sound gun" to calm the dog down and then fail? Make it "successful fail" by having her fail to Anger them and pacify them instead. Then when both dogs are stunned but still agitated, Watoto again drop down and feed them her "magic mushroom", with zero roll success. What Mori the DM do? Make them sniff it and then get drugged and walk away, ending the fight that would leave Watoto seriously wounded. I mean, it make sense from DM perspective. I'm expecting that Mori actually send those two dog as a lore expansion, but Tiara open fire on them too soon and forced a fight. Still, if this continue it would be ruin the feeling of risk-reward that make TTRPG fun. I hope next session Mori will hit them with proper consequence.

Re-watching this part, now I get what you mean. It's a D2 so the result is either 1 or 2, with 2 as the success. I misunderstood it because literally everyone, the players and chat doesn't understand it as well. Still, doesn't change the fact that Mori threw an absolutely softball at Watoto. Two super agitated mythical beast that has been shot and wounded, decide to sniff on the mushroom that was thrown by its enemy? On meta level, she allow Ame to make this roll that doesn't take any stat into calculation; it literally a coin flip. Now I wonder what was her plan had the coin flip fail. She sound exasperated, maybe she decide she gonna hit Watoto with something actually hurt.
Overall though, I think it's a OK session. Mori did well in coming up with stuff on the spot. Ina and Gura was really into the game and RP well. Kiara did better in come up with creative solution. Bonus point for remember that she got useful stuff in her arsenal. I think Ame still leaning to hard into the wild card Watoto character because she hasn't been hit with something bad yet. Mori was too lenient in enforcing bad roll and moral degradation, but she know that. I'm looking forward to the next session.

Flare and Noel weren't distancing themselves from it. They made it pretty clear they weren't breaking up. The real issue was that Flare and Noel didn't like being referred to as Husband and Wife. They were shutting down a stereotype of lesbian relationships that made them uncomfortable, especially Flare since she kept being seen as the "man" of the relationship when Noel sees her not as such, but the cutest girl in the whole world. This is strongly indicative of it being a serious thing between them, if them buying marriage rings wasn't clear enough as is (they themselves call them marriage rings).
