Obsydia did a laggy stream that was kind of rough. When the Holo JP girls do Nintendo stuff it looks so smooth, I really wonder how much better the JP servers are. Petra needs a better face rig because I can't tell when she talks in group collabs.

So we know that Lazulight are all in America/Canada, but I think that Obsydia is split between Japan (Petra) and America (Rosemi and Selen). Correct me if I'm wrong there. I've got to imagine that just playing across ocean was enough to fuck up the connection. Nevermind how notoriously awful Nintendo's online systems have historically been.

I'm sticking with my earlier comment that it's RWBY-tier lore.
Don't get me wrong, it's nice, better than CockBite, but not particularly deep.
I'm sure it pushes Mori's mall goth/World of Darkness buttons just fine.

Wtf did they do to Anya again. Jesus christ. That rigger fucked gura over already so it isn't just cover not caring about the ugly duckling like wtf.
Why would they ever rehire someone after botching something the first time. Plus they had top tier riggers for the other two Id girls. It's so sad considering she is already struggling (to hololive standards anyway).

EDIT:even r/hololive is pissed.
Is this tbe time that they stop hiring that rigger.

Great question. But now its Coco's leg incident, Gura and Anya.
After Gura 2nd outfit they went full damage control on reddit and locked threads going "we hear you and will bring your critique forward".
Then they have him do Anya and to this man's credit he somehow managed to make it worse than having a hole on the rig and floating cat ears. At this point I wonder who his Father is, for there's no way he's keeping this job on merit.

Cannot for the life of me understand how Shin Umiushi is still getting hired by Cover. Do they think he's a secret goldmine because he happened to rig Gura, and that's why he was given Coco's NY outfit and the Loli of the successive generation?

After a brief search, and I could be wrong because he doesn't seem to have a portfolio easily accessible, it's ONLY Hololive that have hired this man, and that includes Indies who either save up to get any of the other major riggers or rig themselves better than he does.

I just checked a bunch of Nijisanji wikis and absolutely none of them reference a papa of any kind which I found to be very interesting. I went back to Elira's debut and, sure enough, only shout outs to the mama. I haven't done any research on how Niji's iPhone tech works and I won't claim to, but I will say that even if I find a good chunk of Nijisanji's DESIGNS to be boring and lacklustre, I've never seen a bad rig.

Nepotism is surely the only answer he's still getting paid. There's no way that the rigging industry is so short of hands that they simply MUST commission Shin to beat their own internal deadlines. Christ alive.
