You'd think with the fucking massive amount of cash they are making on these girls, they'd spring for better models on the newest gen- like the ones with really good tracking on snuffy/girldm etc.

I would say the character "blending" is only a secondary concern, also when they're in colabs we'll only be seeing them from the torso up. Though I guess I kind of understand the sentiment more, when it's relevant to single Gen. Than when people were complaining about IRyS, since she's a Vsinger first, HoloEn streamer second. So her design was always going to be focused towards the singing/music part of her content.
The only one that stands out to me as unusual is Baelz, probably partially because her main color is red and the more modern atire, making her the only one that doesn't look like normal "Fantasy". Also the thing over Kronii's head I would think with fair certainty will be hidden the majority of the time.
I still wonder how much the talents get to put their preferences into the early design process, as sometimes it really feels like a "As long as they can justify it within the "theme" of the Gen they're joining" then it's fine. Even HoloEn Gen 1 had some interesting design choices for their "myth" theme and what they're supposed to represent.

It's way harder to run those 3d models, ironmouse couldn't play any games when she used to her version and had to buy a new powerful PC. Personal preferences aside, I actually don't like those 3d models, I know the tech/modelling is new, but they are just recolors at the moment, with minor changes.

Sure it makes sense with her lore but it just so cringe to me with that naming sense. I can forgive it if it's just one "no name" especially since most Holomems so far have part of their names reflect their character's theme(s) but here it's just so blatant, boring, and lame using "NO NAME" as her full name with no subtleties. It feels like a weeb who wants a cool name in JP but doesn't know JP much and to be honest Mumei doesn't sound/look like a cute/cool name to me. At the very least do it like Suisei where both her first and last name uses celestial bodies but aren't repeating the same crap (star and comet.) Ok rant over
On a side related note who names these vtubers anyway? Is it by the company or the vtuber themselves?

This might be a far reach on my end but my best guess is that since she's the shortest of Gen 2, whoever at Cover decided to make her an almost direct foil to Gura? Especially with the vivid red and sorta flame thing going on in her design, while Gura is cool blue and ya know water shark.
Again this is a far reach, I just wanted to say it out.

I am okay with the lore, and with the designs. I do not think that I will have the time to watch them too. But, I guess, I have to wait and see.

The interesting part about Ollie Wedding Costume, actually, she can dismantle each accessory on her outfit, that when you take off the 7 nail thingy, it just left her tiara, and make it look like she is a queen/princess.

The streamer would get to decide, though management would have to okay it, though how random the names can be I don't think they're all that strict.
Actually thinking about it, Amelia kind of proves that the member pretty much picks what they want now, as who else in their right mind would put a random British detective in a group of mythical creatures, the Japanese are crazy, but not that crazy.... well maybe.
I'm also going to put this out out there, but Mumei's probable nickname will be Mei-chan.

im amazed Cali dosent burn herself out by cracking out 8 hour+ streams just to beat them. i know its a pain to go back to a game you have not played for a long time but there has to exist better ways than just finish them at once.

So for any of you fuckers crazy enough to keep up with all of PC..are Lia and Uruka worth following daily? I like what I've seen in collabs but I have my hands full with the EN gals, Pippa and Tenma right now. I haven't even found time for IRyS yet. Are they as much fun as the others?

IRyS came alone and had all the spotlight on her, whilst also being the first new member to the EN branch. I wonder if the astronomical highs of last year is still there or if the fad has started to wane.
It'll also be the first time EN-only's will be faced with the new issue of overlapping schedules and potential cannibalising. So we will get a better picture of where HoloMyth are at when faced with new 'competition' from their own branch.
All will be revealed the minute she opens her mouth on stream. People locked down 5/6 NijiEN members solely from their 30sec introduction video.
