General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

The way I learned as a Niji fan is to pick a few favorites/oshis and watch them, you don't need to watch every talent in an agency. Maybe eventually you'll find others you want to watch so you change favorites.

I like to say the same thing but the reality is I'll be subscribing to all of the EN branch purely because of how casually they all interact with each other. Like Selen x Finana's APEX collab where Rosemi just joined in out of nowhere, or Elira's endurance stream where others hop in and keep her company. It opens the door to a lot of really great moments.

The JP branch, though? Yeah you can do whatever you want. It's a lot more segmented and encouraging you to only sub to the ones you like. This philosophy is a but of a mixed bag, as big collab events can often include members not many people watch, or Koushien where team leaders were reacting to international branch members for the first time, but overall I prefer it.

On the other hand, What the fuck?! HOW MANY BIRTHDAYS ARE THERE?!

Ngl I completely forgot Shion even exists.

August has 10 debut anniversaries and 4 birthdays, last birthday is Mio's on the 20th then there is a gap before Ayame's debut anniversary on the 3rd of September. Well untill they cram HoloEn gen 2 into the month. Actually they really should have done their debut next weekend instead, to give the month better spacing.

Shion's been moving and other complications, so she hadn't streamed in awhile. Her birthday stream was good, even got a new orginal song from her.

As a consumer of any and all AmeSame I bring you this

I love those animated shorts. Gura and Amelia are the main reason it's going to be really hard for me to watch any of the new girls.

I think the designs are fine. Didn't fall in love with them, but I think these will do their job and be functional.

Now I'm wondering what languages besides English these new talents can speak, but at least one speaking Japanese is a safe bet.

The debut hours seem eurocuck-friendly, so I should be able to watch them. Also Fauna is active on twitter right now, maybe she is in GMT(+1) timezone as well.

Airani Iofifteen recently cranked out a cute HoloEN picture. Hope she is feeling better.

Watame is finally releasing a more interesting song. I love her voice, but i don't like slow songs that much. Her monster cover was great, so I hope this one will be good and getting a good amount of views.
The more I listen to Watame sing the more Im convinced she's better suited to J-rock than anything else.
