General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

She had a long singing stream few hours ago, she mentioned at the beginning that she feels nervous after a break and so on.

She is fine and agile as well:

Yeah, almost thought of mentioning it, but was fairly late when I checked on Holodex and saw her doing the singing stream.

I'm really glad she's feeling better, also some of those laid back accapella songs she sung were amazing, I'll have to go back a check it out from the beginning when I have a chance.

Edit: Thinking about it, I probably link too much stuff already.

There is a contest for ero fanart ("barely worksafe") with the tag "haachamarin", climaxed (ha!) with a stream on 26th September.
Kind of an interesting situation hololive is in vis-a-vis Youtube's nebulous decency standards. It's kind of like Hollywood under the Hays code. Some of them like Marine and Mel want to go all out with the erotic content, and I think most of them want to go a bit further than they currently can (e.g. having bathing suits), but Susan's restraints get in the way of that.

However, they're using the restraint as a creative opportunity. They're sort of cheekily flirting with the rules, dancing up to the line without crossing it. This dynamic already existed to an extent with the expectation that idols be "seiso" and the girls teasingly insinuating things without ever going too far.

The insinuations are usually more jokes and memes than serious also. If they went full e-thot and just streamed tons of T&A and erotic ASMR they'd be much less popular than they are now. It's their creativity and humor that draws people in, and their erotic teasing is good when it accentuates that instead of distracting from it.

Hana's streams aren't nuked (and I downloaded a few just in case), so this'll be an easy confirm/deny once the debut hits.

I thought there's a rrat about Korone being a single mom in her 30s (her simps are literally help paying for her child support)
I kinda doubt a single mom would be able to stream the hours Korone does, unless she had a kid fairly young and the kid is old enough to be a bit independent.

Anyone else keeps being unsubed to holoen gen 2.?It's the third fucking time I've had to sub to those 5 Google ffs I'm not a bot.
Not sure what dictates that. I've been subbed this whole time.
I've also never gotten unsubbed from them. I've heard that whether or not your Youtube account has a credit card attached makes a huge difference in whether they think you're a bot or not, but who knows. The Youtube AI is a black box.

Goodbye Holo Cube.
Hello Pip Cube.
Edit:
I couldn't resist.

I'm really enjoying all the interactions between the Holo and Niji EN girls on Twitter; it's nice to see everyone treating each other like equals, even as their companies' respective fantards screech into the void on /vt/ and here. Hopefully this will lead to more collabs between them and other companies/indies.

I've always heard Vei had a hateboner for Hololive, but did she actually say?
She basically went on some rant about how Hololive treats their talent like shit, how talent have no say in their costumes, how they are forced to RP, and how talent that has left had told her a bunch of this shit. At the time, I believe only Hitomi Chris had left and Aloe was either suspended or on her way out. Basically she spread false info she was likely trolled with OR she just flat out lied. When the Kiara/Vei collab was mentioned, this clip resurfaced and basically stopped the collab. When given a chance to apologize, Vei, being the dumb bitch she is, doubled down.

For a company that has Veibae and Sydsnap, I see this audition as a great opportunity for people that wants to take vtubing seriously.
The networking and the views they have would be a great boost for anyone.
It's a good stepping stone. Spend a year or two in Vshojo and see if you can get into Hololive or Nijisanji EN at some point.

Not sure about how much money they make but VSHOJO is bigger than NijiEN right now and doesn't have any kind of overhead management telling them what they can and can't do like Niji and especially Holo do.

If you get into VSHOJO there isn't much reason to go anywhere else unless you REALLY want the money. Comments of them being 'sluts' aside they really are the best of both worlds.
