I don't think anyone would actually care too much, but I imagine it would still make more sense to introduce a StarEN or something if you decided to start tossing guys in. Crossdressing or not.

Personally I hope it's just a goofy weird "Manipulator" manager account though. The moment a crossdresser gets added you'll have a wave of trannies out the woodwork claiming it's one of them, and all that dumb shit. Like the trailer for the new SMT game. If it's announced as a tranny then they're gonna show up shitting up everything and burning it all down bragging about it while complaining just one isn't enough.

This is one aspect where I feel like Hololive is trying to be more than it is. I can't think of a single instance where I've given even a tiny shit about a VTuber's lore.

(Some) Nijisanji leans heavily on lore, iirc a talent graduated because they basically have finished everything they can do lorewise and there was no where else they could go.

It's also very likely that Holo is going all in on lore because they realized lore is important for branching out into other multimedia projects - there's only so much you can do with Schoolgirl #35

If they're supposedly management for HoloEN girls, then they're definitely a girl and that everything (including the it pronoun) is just 2deep4me lore. I wouldn't look too deep into things since they'll all just as likely throw it out of the window as they become progressively used to streaming.
 
Wayback machine is being stupid but I can confirm that Omega was listed as producer on Caesura of Despair at least as far back as Aug 3. So it wasn't added recently.
