Anyone had any juicy update from Ceres’s toxic colleague? Ceres is smart to get out of that toxic group. If they are not toxic they would keep their mouth shut and wait for HoloEN3 and ask for referral from Ceres herself just like how Holo Council is so Korean biased with Ina referral (Ina is no longer the sole professional illustrator of Holo and hope they would start release some juicy doujin … for content)

It should be clarified that the person with the grievance on Ceres is an Indie and not at all affiliated with Fuwatopia or that group on that front. She is clearly friends with them, but Lemonleaf leaving that group for Hololive has nothing to do with whatever FallenShadow's problem is.

A member of Fuwatopia comforting Shadow, to me, implies they know what's happened, but you can also be empathetic towards a person without agreeing with their take on the situation. So I think for the time being we should consider Fuwatopia and it's remaining members a non-factor.

It's not 'Ceres was smart to leave a toxic group' because that group hasn't been toxic. It's very much a grievance of one person to one other person. The veracity of it is up in the air but I couldn't in good conscience declare the Indie is just bitter or that Ceres has been a cunt.

Sana - Her model is kinda weird and that aussie accent is too thick, her personality seems fine tho, gotta watch her since she is tako's friend, nice artist
Fauna- Not a fan of the american loli voice that a lot of indies have, sounds too sweet, yandere twist is cool i quess
Kronii- Momma step on me pls, deff calli of the group and her voice is sex, also did i mention how much i love her voice ?
Mumei- Good type of cute voice, cinnamon roll, comfy af. Also based on her old work she seems to be a degenerate as well, so gura lite ?
Rat- As a fellow coffee addict i love her, good personality, energetic but not too loud like ollie, so far my favorite of the group

If this is the case, then maybe they'll have them use the main Hololive EN channel then when a collab that has both Gen1, Gen2, and maybe with Irys; they could be the host of said collab and still have use of that channel rather than using it just for teaser/trailers or in the rare case uploading a full gen music cover (Since I still have my doubts that channel is theirs). But it's too soon to know what other role they'll soon play in the company so we'll have to be patient and focus on the present than the future.

so i take it like Calli situation, where she said "haha fuck that vtuber shit, I'm not that interested, you should go fam" to her friend, then later she just try to apply for giggling and stuff but happened to get pick by cover. But instead of getting moral support from her friend as Calli did, Ceres's friends were like "well fuck you" something like that?

I found time to watch her graduation announcement and I'm convinced she's done streaming for good. One of her goals is to reach 100K subs on YouTube so she can commemorate her efforts with a plaque, and it seems she's moving to the Maldives.

It was 30 minutes of her crying, setting up a victory lap of collabs with the likes of Pikamee, HoloID, and her illustration family. She was also talking about getting a refund for a L2D that never came to pass so she can donate it to charity, so this opportunity to move has sprung up pretty recently and she's took it.

In short, I find it very unlikely she's a candidate for NijiEN Wave 3, and if she is she's REALLY toyed with her viewers' emotions on something that will be found out the moment she speaks on debut.

Shannon's graduation announcement stream, however, was much more chipper and with a swift end to activities (Aug. 27). The kind of stream you'd expect from someone who knows they have something lined up in the future. Her reason is even that she is 'Journeying to new realms'.

I personally think it's safe to remove Lyrica from the list and add Shannon to it.

Her schtick though was that she was a grandma aged retired magical girl who likes to scam people. "Finding a sugar daddy in the Maldives I can scam for the rest of my life" totally feels like a comedy option way to retire the character on a good note. Especially when on the slides she had the line "Don't make me cry I hate you all." She just seemed really attached to the character, and you could tell she felt bad about leaving/betraying the fans. I would think if it was a wind down due to other reasons, she would go about it another way.

It might be worth seeing if there was any indication she applied for HoloEN2 but I'm not so sure about that. Also, we are speaking singularly on Shadow. The rest of Ceres' friends have not said anything or been supportive.

So it's not a 'friendship group' thing, it's specifically one person who, for whatever reason, feels hard done by. I don't know any more than you do, I'm just trying to keep the rrats steadied on the fact it's one person upset with one person.

I would feel Fuwatopia members would be the hardest hit if Ceres backstabbed them all or ghosted them etc but that isn't the case, so I feel whatever has happened is more personal than that.

We know that Lemon and Shadow unfollowed each other at one point, so there IS something there - it's just a case of how much of a nothing burger it is.

nah it's just that shadow person as far as I can tell. Everyone from Fuwatopia (the group she was actually part of) after looking through their feeds today, they all were either posting hype on their TL's watching the debut, or tweeting at her directly to congratulate her.

Even the guy that was posting comforting shadow when she was bitching on her TL tweeted at Ceres to "welcome her to the community" (since he obviously can't acknowledge he knows she was a vtuber before.

and all of the others just seemed genuinely excited for her debut. So I'd personally walk back any of my previous implications of her coworkers in general being mad, it just seems to be a singular bitter bitch that wasn't even part of their group and is predebut as a vtuber altogether.

Last I saw, on the 21st she kinda backed off slightly and said that she'd wish the friend in question well or something but pointed out there was more to the story than the public saw but she wasn't going to expose her. Which is stupid, why even speak up and bitch in the first place? So either Shadow is jealous or Fauna was a bitch, or Fauna got an opportunity and took it like anyone (including Shadow) would if given the chance.

We aren't sure of just what Cover tells talents to not say to people about their identities in Hololive but some Holos don't even tell family. If I was close to Shadow and half-expected her to react like this, I wouldn't have told her either in fear of her leaking and ruining it for me.

Call me schizo but I still get a slight feeling that Shadow had some sort of girl crush and is bitter with how she "love cute girls" and this situation felt "like a break up."
