Now that it's been some time, how's the Intersteller watchalong been? I've never seen it before, and I figured I could use it as an excuse to watch it. And didn't have a chance to start watching tonight until now.

By the way @TiredCatto , I think I know the reason why HoloID can't go to Japan. Its possible that some of them are vaccinated with Sinovac, and unable to procure another vaccine as booster shot to circumvent the Sinovac Travel Ban.

It is actually "possible" for you to have the "good vaccines" like Moderna or AZ for booster shot, but because of the recent scandal involving gov officials jumping the line (including the President himself) to get booster shot, its getting harder.

Its all about corn

Kidding aside, its one hell of an amazing movie, but it needs a couple or rewatches + "basic" understanding of Physics to understand the marvel of the science in this movie. As for the watchalong, the banter and side commentaries of Space and Time keeps it from being too serious and science-heavy, but the wow factor helps hype the watchalong. Thats just my take on it.

Sinovac is a real shitty vaccine to the point that there is a conspiracy that its the virus itself and help spread it more. Most countries accept those vaccinated Pfizer, Moderna, and AZ (even J&J, so as long as efficacy is 60%+) but travel bans from high-infected countries are still there unless given an official document and justification.

yeah if the lineup matched, it's during AZ vaccine about out of stock and the only vaccine left is Sinovac. although i just learn you are currently able to fly aboard as long as you are vaccinated. so far saw someone went to murica for a business trip, idk if they get shot once arrived or just get a pass as long as you have been shot

god fucking damnit, it's always related to government stuff isn't it? why can we enjoy our goddamn waifu doing cute and yuribait stuff peacefully
