Regarding the boyfriend stuff, I'm sure that both hololive and the new generations are well aware that there will be immediately people trying to get them doxxed, and that them having a boyfriend wouldn't be easy for the mentally-ills to accept.
They still chose to join despite everything, so if anything bad happens, they don't have much to complain about.

I'm of the opinion that, if they truly believed it was a serious problem, they wouldn't even hide the fact of having boyfriends.
But, having both the cake (not having schizos in their fanbase) and eat it (money from people falling into parasocial relationships) is impossible, so they must believe it's worth hiding it.

1. Yuni is funny as usual.
2. I have never actually watched anything of Domo before. I really dislike that I enjoy his voice given all of the shady bullshit he does. Wait. Actually, he sounds like Max Goof. . . ha.
3. Yeah, someone here gave a very sucinct description of the man as a kind of 'king of nerds;' the 'cooler' one of the pack that uses it for self-aggrandizement. I see it now. Interview questions inevitably leading to a neg, some kind of sarcastic interrogatory question, etc. . . It is actually a pretty common thing in interviewers or hosts, just not the good ones (See that one jackass from the relatively infamous interview with RDJ).
4. Every time she remarks about his weak little simp arms I audibly snort.

I'm of the opinion that they have been pushing the boundaries in regards to the doxxing and openness of the talent's private lives. Combine that with the rebranding as an 'entertainment' company. . . it really does seem they are trying make the talent into a more seiyuu based system. It would help 'lessen' the blow of things like this to a certain extent. You'd lose the more rabid and mentally ill 'fans' but would probably keep the better part of the fanbase.

Bon is rather based. I recommend watching him especially in collabs. He's one of the male vtubers I watch on occasion because he's got a great voice. The chemistry between the two was great too. Hope they decide to collab more often.

I've never seen any roommate talk about Uruka on /vt/ and assuming her and Ashelia (if not all of Phase Connect) are rather friendly with eachother I'd imagine she nuked her past life too based on what Ashelia did to protect herself.

idk if it coincidence, but since she streams during people were about to go home in JP now. people that come around to her chat mostly chilling while discussing otome game or game in general on DS/Vita. not to mention seems Anya prefers playing the game in Japanese so the exchange talk between JP bros is more likely more familiar.

also seems her Idol Manager stream is doing great, people enjoying it. haven't check it though, but the Idol group name called HALULIVE.

Nene is going to premiere a duet of Guilty Crown's "My dearest" with Tenjin Kotone who did regulary collabs with Sora and Choco-sensei in the past. Polka just released a Cover with Kotone too, they did Covers together before the time Polka joined hololive.

The first 45 minutes of that Yuni interview was absolutely god awful. I nearly cringed my face into itself. But once Domo stopped interrupting to inject his "funny man" shtick, and Yuni was allowed to go on that stream of consciousness that we all know and enjoy. It got alot better. Bonus points to her for publicly calling Pokimane an annoying thot. She also went into how western vtubers are so offputting because of how they choose to use their platform as their spout the socjus newsletter of the day and how cliquish they tend to be. That part was interesting to me because it does show that she's been saying this stuff long before she showed up on the radar of the farms or /vt/. I completely understand why Domo would delete it however. Not just because ya girl was shooting some truths, but it really showed how terrible of a host he is in that interview.

She is 100% just like this. The first time I saw her stream, which was over a year ago, she was just as unhinged as she is now. If it's something she's playing up for views (and I doubt that,) she's been doing it all along.

Regarding Pokimane, Yuni actually tweeted about her when she jumped on the VTuber bandwagon. I remember at the time admiring her blunt honesty, since most people in the western VTuber community were busy white knighting her after people (rightfully) called her a clout chasing thot.
