IDK man, it feels quicker to refer to the en girls as gen1 and 2, rather than myth, council, etc.

Beats me why did they chose that when the gens work perfectly fine in JP and ID.

probably cause they know, the people that they got for EN are veterans that have experience streaming or established artists. While some from early JP gens are nobody that have no experience streaming as such is the case with ID. IMO

Reine is the one who carried the most, but damn is Ollie a dark horse in the last few races

Despite Kiara's voice and ticks, I gotta admit that Kiara as a host is sure ego-boosting and acknowledging in a way.

Gura was hoarsy + low energy, but at least she had fun with a few curses

I read a few threads ago that its awkward and for western culture, that senpai-kouhai structure really doesn't workout given the different niche and uniqueness of every individual or something (sorta forgot the whole thing)

Well, if she's been shown as looking as an Asian, there's still a chance considering lots of Chinese-Malay/Indonesian are moving to Australia for education or jobs

So my prediction is correct, the HoloMyth and HoloCouncil is part of their branding. And if they went as far as making A-Chan saying this, Cover is deadly serious about it. So that explain why they're so hellbent on making us familiar with their lore, why the EN2 are streaming things related to their lore as well... interesting.

This reminds me with how some idol groups works in Japan, particularly the ones that are formed for short/specific purposes. You know, the seiyuu idol group/unit. This fits with my rrat that they're trying to branch into Multimedia/Media Mix entertainment company.

Note, however, so far the one that pushed this is just from the EN branch. However, if in the near future a new gen is announced (ie. ID3 or JP6), we can see whether or not this is an exclusive planning from the EN branch

And Reine is surprisingly good. Her turn and steering is great overall, and she know to go for the shortest road. She just need to learn to use bad item sooner to rotate them out, and the rest is just practice to get familiar with the maps. Another win for the hag team.

Kind of weird considering I think the biggest factor keeping the gap alive is EN's management. I don't think it's a coincidence that once the management is spread thin with Holocouncil, suddenly Gura starts interacting with her senpai on Twitter, on their streams and even takes the initiative of going to the JP server by herself.

A-chan can say whatever she wants. The EN girls have adopted a Senpai-Kouhai relationship between each other and their other branches, other branches have adopted that for them, and not a single person would rather type out HoloCouncil over Gen 2.

This kind of stuff is so hardwired into V-Tubing and Hololive culture that I cannot wrap my head around why they want EN to be different.
