When the arfcom boomers blacked out s/n's in pics I used to think they were being paranoid weirdos, but it's objectively the correct call if you're going to post anything.

AI is mostly fake (and gay) and machine learning as most people understand it is a scam. That being said, the stuff it's good at is data aggregation/information collation type stuff - and that unfortunately includes facial recognition. And probably also the background of photographs at this point. That will probably only ever work for certain things/be gamble but it seems to be getting better fast.

There is currently an explosion in the popularity of illegal machineguns among Basketball Americans. For Context the ATF said that they seized 1500 Illegally converted firearms in 2021 compared to 300 in 2020. They are even being incorporated into their "culture" with songs like "Glock with a switch" by "PGF Nuk"
The Cops are scared and they should be, there were two shootings in Texas where the cops were completely outgunned because suspects had converted Glocks, one officer was killed as a result and others wounded.

I think there's always been a moderate number of hole drillers around. It's just that most rural whites know what they're doing and mostly keep their fucking mouth shut about it. The hood doesn't have either of those capabilities, so they had to wait until the shit literally showed up on Wish, and for it to be on a blingier, more impractical platform than a rifle for FA.

(There's probably more drillers than ever now, someone hears you blazing out back and gets you in trouble, just have a binary trigger lower around and go 'yeah we blast trash with this'.)

Google runs OCR on their indexed images, which means that photos of guns with visible serials can be looked up. Same deal with license plates.

The latter. The other videos that are great are all the videos of cartels in the USA just driving past cops on the interstate while fully strapped.

If the cops, who gets to run around in plates/a vest with a long gun, thinks he's got some huge disadvantage because some street goon put a Ali Express selector on his Glock and "practiced" two mags of WWB through it then the cop needs to train way more.

Iirc he just resells/rebrands LTC armor to civilians. Many of the older models were tested to the old standard of NIJ testing and presumably LTC never bothered to pay to have the old stuff retested. Reviews on LTC plates seem to be good and his prices aren't bad(if everything is legit) when compared to other civilian body armor sellers. I can definitely understand not wanting your name/address on his customer files though, even if his schizoposting is entertaining.
