General GunTuber thread

Oh fucking please. Yes, stolen valor is a bad thing and sucks but these pogs nut over themselves to get to do that. If it's truly a ridiculous air force delta seal type thing, which a LOT of it is, who gives a fuck? Not like the dude is fucking your wife while you're mopping up rain.

Useless shit you get from serving:
-awkward TYFYSes when forced to be in uniform around general public

Throwing on a random uniform gets TYFYS only. All the useful shit requires proof of service, they're not defrauding that. IDGAF about someone who craves strangers awkwardly thanking them.

Right? It's the most uncomfortable shit ever. I don't know anyone who likes it.

This chick managed to get a forged dd-2-14 and accrue several 100s of thousands in charity money

I’ve found it you tell them it was that or the unemployment line in 2008 you can make them feel uncomfortable right back.

What's everyone's general consensus on the GWAC stuff here? I'm not a lawyer and this situation seems kind of weird. I don't trust anything coming from Ian and co or the suing company, but the splurge of videos coming from Ian and crew makes me think they're hoping to save face when they lose the lawsuit.

I think they're trying to head off the rumor mill personally, what with lies and rumors moving faster than truth and all that. As for the actual lawsuit itself I have no strong opinion one way or another.

No lawyer but I do have some corporate patents and do injection molding. From the Runkle video it does appear that both parties are responsible for a flimsy at best purchase agreement regarding "IP".

If GWACS doesn't have a patent, then they really didn't have anything to sell in terms of utility/design patents. KE essentially would have just bought some tooling, a stack of CAD drawings or files to use as reference. You can't really sell the rights to something you don't have yourself.

I don't think they have much to stand on which is why they have focused on vague statements about "trade secrets and NDAs", unless there was a bunch of stuff outside of the contract that was said in emails.

A side note:
While researching this, I realized Glen Castle of Recoil has a financial tie with Ian and the WWSD project. Personally I find that a slight conflict of interest when the RecoilTV video is often pointed to with discussions of the WWSD durability.

Ian Sells Out: FN Edition
I wonder how much he was paid to shill the Nu-Power that's heavier, has no compatible parts, a polymer guide rod, aND YOU CAN GET AN OLD ONE ALREADY BIGOT IT'S A DIFFERENT PLATFORM THAT SHOULD STAND ON ITS OWN

When your shilling focuses on "It doesn't bite me" and "It's got 17 rounds! also hollowpoints work!" you'll be losing a lot of people. What possessed him to do this? Is it buyer's remorse? Is this the amhole situation where he's trying to force himself to enjoy it while suckering other people into buying it to suffer with him?
Also that rear sight looks terrible.
The mans earned the right to make a buck or two off of his success.
Personally I think it's just the desert. It does shit to people.
Or being a socialsatanist.

My main takeaway from the lawsuit is that Russell is quite fat. That is all.

Actually looking at the videos, the kid comes off as the slightly awkward 18 year old that he is.
What do you guys predict he'll be doing on YouTube with his own channel?
Kyle? I have no idea what he'll be doing on youtube, but I sure as fuck hope he gets some elocution lessons. Pretty sure he's got a speech impediment, but that's not the issue. The problem is that he sounds so... boring. He's gotta be able to hold people's attention when he's not being grilled by a closeted homosexual lawyer or fed easy lines by a dudebro with a long stroke fetish.

I wish him the best, but he'll have to put in the work if he wants success as a video content producer. And whatever it is, he really needs to be as inoffensive as he can or youtube is going to yeet him out of the platform faster than you could say "section 203 protections".
