I mean sure, it's more interesting for a gun nerd. But this is not all that different from 100 years ago when basically everone was adopting a Mauser. Those who weren't, already had something different before the 98 was developed. Or they were French/Japanese, who always did their own thing.

The 1920s was a weird time in small arms because it was clear the self loading infantry rifle was coming soon, but wasn't ready yet, while at the same time a lot of places came out of WW1 realizing that their rifle of choice needed upgraded. This pushed a lot of places into off the shelf Mausers with the idea that when they can get a self loading rifle the Mausers will have the best resale to somebody who hasnt yet.

I guess kind of like how now it seems likely some new hot ammo with more range and better armor penetration is going to come up as the next paradigm and require new rifles.

It won't be that new sig 6.8 shit though. There's like a 100% chance that atleast the rifles are a boondoggle, and I'd shit if they didn't get rid of the separate training and duty ammo styles. Wasn't one unit "issued" them and then given M4s back when they were rotated to Europe on reserve where they theoretically could have to do something?

He did some shitty work in the Form 1 suppressor building community and eventually got banned. His surefire warden to bravo welds were poo poo.

Seems his deluge of nonsense may be spurred by the return of Multiple Sclerosis symptoms.
