I think that Ian is well adjusted and normal enough that he understands old school things like how studying something can be done from a neutral position and how you can communicate with people even if you don't like or don't agree with them.

Unfortunately I think that he's so well adjusted and normal that he's forgotten which world we currently live in and how retarded the internet is.

Backerkit is a pretty normal Kickstarter addon/alternative. A lot of people use it. It just happens to be owned by shitlibs.

I'm gonna have to disagree with that, especially since he's shown in the past that he doesn't really like the internet and so I doubt that a bunch of internet weirdos are going to have that kind of sway with him. I think the clarification video was something made purely in good faith and when people spit at him he probably shrugged his shoulders and said "okay" and went along with his day.

Considering his clarification video it looks like he's set on publishing the book. If the crowdfunding website doesn't cancel all the preorders, they'll have to go through with it anyway. The only way this book gets fully canceled is if the mob somehow gets them kicked out of every crowdfunding platform or payment provider out there.

I'll take your word for it. The only crowdfunding platforms I see being pitched around are Kickstarter and Gofundme, and it's not like either is known for being forthcoming either.

And that's well and good until you piss off the wrong tranny with connections to some people, and the next thing you know, SPLC is issuing fatwas against your name and Visa cancels your credit cards.

Yeah for what it's worth a lot of Kickstarter campaigns will use Backerkit to sell addons after the KS is funded. It's usually not a primary funding platform but a secondary one.

It's possible Ian got a better deal from them in terms of the % they're taking but I won't speculate too much.

It is absolutely imperative that Ian does not back down and kowtow to the looney troon lefties that are mad about this book, Mainly because their melt down is funny and because these loony troons are fucking insane in more ways than one, two insane trannies tried to (and failed) to visit and threaten the owner of this very website just because a thread on here was making fun of them and calling them out on their bullshit. These people will never forgive Ian for his unforgivable sin of advertising a book, he is an un-person to them now and there is no going back, apologizing is useless and should not be done in any circumstance.
