I kinda want to do this, but I do not wish to google "AR-15 dick grip .stl"
I dont think anything he did was that legally unsound considering he was acquitted and the prosecutor is now a laughing stock. There’s a lot of things to learn from Rittenhouse, anything about the forward assist is much further down the list vs tactics, techniques, and procedures.
Had Rittenhouse used a better quality AR15, better magazines, and better ammunition his use of the Forward Assist very likely may not have been necessary. Had he used it more prior to this incident and done better maintenance it may not have been necessary.
Training for the firearm to be fired off the shoulder, held weakly, or fired from the supine position, would reveal if it can actually run under those conditions. Not all AR15s can.
Having watched most of the trial as it aired far more relevant lessons;
1) Showing up to an active conflict zone with only one person you know and trust is not a good idea.
2) leaving the private property you are guarding is is both tactically and legally unsound.
3) running around doing every “side quest” is tactically and legally unsound.
4) doing the same alone and unsupported is even more tactically unsound.
5) not having a clear leader of the security force lead to everyone there acting independently
All of the above lead to the situation where he was alone, unsupported, and targeted by hostile actors.
He did exercise better shoot/no-shoot decisions under stress and while having his bell rung than most cops would, so props for that.
He is very lucky he survived the situation, and he is also very fortunate he survived in court.
There are more things to consider from the incident and their preparation going into it, but these are the things I easily remember 6 months after watching the trial, the video evidence, and the testimony.
So if what you got out of the Rittenhouse case is that the forward assist saved his life, you’re missing the forest for the trees.
Oh, c'mon now would you rather be talking about fetuses and pigs, magazines and vaginas, the tactical and civil considerations of Kyle Rittenhouse (and not add anything that hasn't already been said), and making a troll video about some "who asked" -tier shotgun and red dot video (the forefront of the modern arms dilemmas), or would you rather try and arrive at a better understanding of the AR-15?This is the inherent problem in having a dialogue with you and why your posts are painful to read. You’ll focus on on sentence and expound on it for paragraph upon paragraph. If you’re not an attorney you sure as hell act like one, as this is the way they conduct themselves on lines of questioning. A one sentence statement turns into dozens of questions.
Fair enough. The M&P Sport II comes with a gen 2 PMAG. What kind of generational issue could it be with a new magpul magazine and gun? Gen 1s and EMAGs are extremely rare these days and it's not like he has a euro magwell or m855a1 coupled with so many hundreds of tungsten tipped rounds feed ramp wear. He had only bought the rifle (and any other magazines) a few months prior, so it's not like they even had time to split down the seam if they were loaded 24/7.I misremembered the type of magazine he was using. Although depending on the generation of PMAG it could be an issue.
Not that I recall. The thing was he had a factory clean and lubed rifle, shot 120-150 rounds through it and worst case never did anything other than that. I made a point in my second video to show exactly what state the rifle was given to Kyle by showing an unboxing video precisely to know how much lubrication we could have expected to have on his rifle in anticipation of this argument. Military AR-15s are expected to be put through much worse conditions than not having the best lube available or the most minimal friction coefficient environment. How much sand, carbon, or mud do you think was in his rifle? I don't think it had anything wrong with it besides the 120 rounds of carbon fouling and not having the most extreme heavy duty grade slip ewl 2000 crisco frogshit cumlube available. It doesn't seem like it would fall outside the envelope of what an issued rifle could face. While the newer phosphate carrier could have very likely had some higher degree of friction, certainly it wouldn't be a worse condition than being in a dusty desert, a muddy place, or some extreme arctic condition? His jam seems entirely within the scope of what any AR-15 could face within the context of general martial conditions.Did Kyle testify to performing any cleaning or maintence on the rifle? I don’t remember him doing so. If he didn’t all the rifle would have had on it is factory lube/preservative which often doesn’t do much or cooks off. It’s also not uncommon for guns to become more reliable as parts wear into each other and interferences are minimized by wear.
I was never upset that the WWSD didn't have a forward assist on its own; it makes sense given that Stoner was opposed to it then in the 60's with the congressional hearings, in the 80's with the Stoner tapes, and in the 90's with the SR-25. Karl could have just ended it there and no one would give him shit over it. The thing is he thinks what Stoner thought about it, what is right, and what he thinks are all the same thing. It being a "slickside" upper and being limited in scope to what Stoner would do is good enough on that point at least. Karl routinely oversteps his justification beyond that which is wrong about its history, causality (of producing FTEs), and is largely ignorant of its functionality. When he and (and Ian to a lesser extent) speak to this further scope beyond Stoner's intent is where my issue lies and where they are giving out bad information that I am attempting to clear up. That's the problem with what Karl does, he oversteps the scope of the WWSD intent beyond making a rifle Stoner would and perhaps without even realizing it starts making concessions or preferential choices that suit him or a/his general audience's purposes at the cost of what Stoner would actually/did choose to do.We’ve already decided the next time we do complete WWSD rifles the forward assist will be a drop down menu option. I don’t care if anyone chooses it or not. Im tired of arguing about this bullshit.
Funny enough not all WWSD2020's could do that without ejecting the magazine either.Training for the firearm to be fired off the shoulder, held weakly, or fired from the supine position, would reveal if it can actually run under those conditions. Not all AR15s can.
That's my point. You can't say that one rifle made with the same or similar enough features to another can be better based on a brand name with certainty. You would actually need to somehow test them. Most people don't have SOTAR tier gauge setups, but there are simple and easy things to check for like the bolt ring test, gas tube alignment, and so on. I'm currently arranging for a test on chambering resistance, its variables, and trying to validate a second simple test that most anyone could do at home and further understand the "quality" of their own guns as it relates to chambering so that we don't have to play this hypebeast brand game. So far this simple test has been used it to identify a BCG that had a broken 5 coil sprinco extractor spring that was still somehow not ejecting rounds strangely enough for the user to notice. This way instead of feeding into shills reviewing guns people can just buy a gun and replace some simple and cheap parts if need be. Hopefully this should work for the vast majority of people in helping better tune their guns for manufacturers and their little shortchanged tricks they do (with part/gas port size selection) to avoid bad reviews from the most casual and retarded of gun buyers.is really just a gut feeling in the consumer's mind. No hard data really exists. It is experiential and anecdotal evidence.
I'm the first in nearly 60 years to have posted empirical evidence of it not being causal to FTEs. If anyone can do it, I honestly think I am the one.I doubt anyone could clarify the muddy waters concerning this issue no matter how hard they tried.
Funny enough not all WWSD2020's could do that without ejecting the magazine either.
Buy a mirror, please.@Full Spectrum. Phagan is a nigger but, he has a point. You are wordy. Just say things simply.
A PAGE OF SPERGERY

As opposed to what? Theorizing about what would Stoner do? You stupid faggot. How much actual shooting do you do and what kind? I ask because regardless of the focus or discipline; people who actually shoot generally don’t care about theoretical stuff to this same degree. And if they do it’s something like PRS shooters performing the ritual of accuracy to appease the machine spirit if their bolt guns.
On the contrary, "Kyle needed to use the FA since fully retracting the charging handle 1 inch out of battery causes a double feed" coupled with a demonstration isn't theoretical, it's just a fact. "Kyle would have been better served by using the charging handle" is merely a theory of Karl's that cannot be demonstrated since it is not true and since he's publicly stating such it's clear he hasn't tested it. Do you think Karl shoots more or less than me without knowing this simple fact?people who actually shoot generally don’t care about theoretical stuff to this same degree.
Instead of those rubber mag grips, make it dicks.Karl would prefer the Penis..
>He doesn't use an RF 85Military AR-15s are expected to be put through much worse conditions than not having the best lube available or the most minimal friction coefficient environment
Dude, that's like... fucking mean. Those loops would really hurt.God definitely chose to punish Karl for his insolence by having Rittenhouse use the forward assist. He should lash himself 87 times with a single point sling in penance.
Give it a real Romanian dong.Instead of those rubber mag grips, make it dicks.
How true are those marketing claims anyway? That certainly sounds interesting but it's the kind of thing that makes me raise a skeptical eyebrow.>He doesn't use an RF 85
No idea. I just saw the ad on the back of a stripped lower package. I'm tempted to get one.How true are those marketing claims anyway? That certainly sounds interesting but it's the kind of thing that makes me raise a skeptical eyebrow.
That's why I used the past tense when talking about it and have no doubt the new, stronger, spring will fix the issue. I also have no doubts about the sincerity of you standing behind your product or the way you personally conduct business with your customers, Russel. I think it's just ironic when arguing about rifle quality and need of a forward assist that the WWSD 2020 rifles and even the 2017 one with the GWACS lower with its grease gun mag cutout has/had similar (confirmed) parallels of needing to be held correctly to avoid mag ejection. This is in addition to the supposition of Kyle's rifle needing to be held correctly that would also necessarily apply to the WWSD as well in terms of general AR-15 principles.Problem identified and resolved with our magazine catch design. I discussed this at length with your associate “juicy” in DMs.
