If you think about it the whole situation stems from right wingers picking up on the left wing word games. The left takes stuff like the abortion debate and makes it into "if you oppose late stage abortion you want women enslaved". Elements of the right caught onto the trend of child sexualization and now use words like "pedophile" or "groomer" to put their opponents on the backfoot from the start.

The FPC twitter guy should have ignored whoever forwarded them Greer's tweet. They didn't and were left with two options.
1) Defend Antifa from accusations of being pedophiles/aiding child grooming.
2) Argue pedophiles should be allowed to own guns and defend child grooming events.
This is a no win situation and it makes me wonder why they felt the need to step in the shit.

They could also have apologized for defending them and explained that they don't condone pedophilia. This is the most logical answer if they wanted something definitive to regain the trust of their donators ("We didn't know these facts before, but we do now. We disavow X.").

Alright now actually argue my point that most self professed libertarians only ever seem to care about their ability to abuse narcotics and children in between long winded tangents about how much they despise having non-toll roads.

Yes they do, but that doesn't change the fact some people should be suppressed. The government is inherently a necessary evil, so is all their actions. Some of them are necessary and dealing with anti-social degenerates is one of them.

The same can be said for prison and the death penalty, no one would say the government should have the authority to inprison or execute anyone they want without reason but some people deserve to be put in prison or fried.

Youtube is not and has never been consistent with how it applies its policies. Maybe Ian is trying to push other platforms, maybe Youtube is bearing down on him because he's actually informative and shows the inner workings of guns instead of just kicking eggplants around, maybe Sarkissian just works with a more chill Youtube rep. The possibilities are endless.
