General GunTuber thread

Cokeman appears to have completely fucked his P22. Possibly as a consequence of the backpressure from shooting it with a silencer? That's what the title implies at least.

Well that's fuckin gay, shooting those suppressed will break those?
Tbf he has shot stingers out of it, which are the hottest loads out there putting out about 220FPE from a rifle. That coupled with back pressure from a can isn't exactly great, but that's pretty disappointing to see the thing break. Guess he wasn't wrong about the thing being a piece of shit

Probably the best person would be Trex Arms or VSO, but even then, that's still not that great. Although Lucas is a bit faggy, I feel he's more serious which would be a closer match to Paul. There's nobody like him though, while there's many Garand knockoffs out there with that horrible cadence and videos 5X longer than they need to be while still not laying down much good info.
I watched Paul and don't really know what he'd do with other people, since his style just doesn't seem like it'd work with anybody else. Demo, KB, Brandon, and that clan all sorta make sense to do collabs, but anything with Paul, especially now, is just kind of a pity collab. These people likely didn't know or care about Paul, and are just doing all this out of clout seeking and their fans telling them to.
I think Henry from 9 hole would be best. Why is it that a damn ching Chong chinaman is making the most down to earth and practical reviews of firearms AND covers the history and philosophy of the firearm AND isnt a giant flamboyant clout chasing faggot?

Ya, probably now that you mention it. Their talking segments really drag on, but so did Paul's.......
Still, I'm not sure how much Paul even wants to be doing this stuff, seeing as he's already past his date so to speak.

The talking segments are the best part. The shooting segments are boring.
He's from Hong Kong. He's not CCP.
Hong Kong is China.

I've been running a P22 with a Spectre II on it for close to a decade and haven't had any issues. Even with stingers. If anything, it has a little trouble cycling underpowered loads but that's almost every .22 autoloader in existence. I've broken a few pistols with .357 and 10mm before, but never a .22.

Edit- Apparently the manufacturer selling super safeties was raided for the safeties, not the pepperjack.

Autism.

Not even kidding. The guy is there because he's passionate about that shit, not because he's trying to chase views. Sure, he does occasionally add in some humor, but it's usually their brand of humor rather than the San Antonio dudebro fratpack's.

Where does School of the American Rifle channel falls into the tard spectrum?
As above, Autism. 'There is ONE way and only this is it and it's all written down in a book with NUMBERS you can CHECK." style autism which fits in neatly with vetbro worshipping of TMs and milspecs.

Having said that, his methods should lead you to having a solid upper receiver group... sort of? Dude talks about, does checks of, and does 'autopsies' on BCGs, bolts and keys constantly and like that's important but it's just part of the whole. Although he's talked about barrel/gas block issues, I can imagine a viewer checking over and over again to make sure their bolt's not magnetized when their problem's a hogged out barrel gas port they won't even look at.

Also he had a spergout about not being able to attend big manufacturer AR armorer's classes which is one of those things: Sure it's weird they won't let normies go to those but who the fuck actually needs an AR armorer's class?

Edit: Oh right, SOTAR is the guy who started the 'reverse torque check' for gas key bolts. You could use a _forward_ torque check and just see if the bolt moves, but no, he's convinced people this is the right way. Doesn't super matter but it's just.... Weird.

I'd say British muzzle loaders fits the bill. He has in depth videos on british military rifles from the Napoleonic era to WW2, and they are very autistically precise. He manufacturers ammunition for his rifles that looks like 19th centuray ammunition, packages it in the correct way, only uses shooting techniques out lined in british army manuals pertaining to that rifle, shoots original qualification tests all the while wearing full period uniforms. most of these vids are atleast 30 minutes long with many running over an hour.
its some of the most informative historical content on the platform IMO.
