Flandre has always been very weird and into crossdressing but played it off as trolling.

about three? years ago he got hit by a car, had a brain bleed and went into a coma when he woke up he came out as trans and burned every bridge he had left.

i think he always wanted to transition but knew not too and that the brain damage made him too dumb to not understand he would never pass and would regret it in the future.

His stuff is alright, but not to be taken too seriously as any of the historical stuff is probably wrong. It sounds like he said a bunch of dumb shit in the AR-15 video likely due to bad source material and not knowing himself. He's not really unique in that way, as Forgotten Weapons has spread solid amounts of fuddlore about the AR and P90.

I "watch" maybe every 3rd video by downloading the audio and listening while I drive when I have nothing better to listen to. His stuff is too long and not engaging enough to watch straight out, it's really just a book on tape.

Lots of other stuff as well, but that is to be expected with the volume and variety of guns he does. And in some cases those he would consider familiar with the subject might spread the same fuddlore too.

Not that big of an issue, when you remember that we are talking about amateur historians.

Not very good, I fell asleep 20 minutes in and decided that was enough. Lots of stuff we all probably know in those first 20 minutes, once you've seen one video on the history of the AR you've seen them all. I bet the whole thing could be condensed into a 15 minute read and still get the point across.

Don't really watch them, they're either late to the game or don't have anything good to say. Washington gun law and guns&gadgets are pretty speedy and accurate with things, if you can tap through the 4 minutes of coffee and SDI shilling

A superchatter figured out you could make him squirm by asking if he thinks being gay is a sin. He'll dance around any way to not answer the question or pretend the Bible is up for interpretation on the subject, but his cohost (from a much more liberal kind of church) will point and say "No, this verse says being gay isn't right, but you do you"

It's bizarre that these people think being "nice" means pretending to approve of lifestyles that oppose your own.

Mike beliveau who runs the channel Duelist1954 hasn't posted a new video in 4 months. turns out he was seriously injured in some sort of accident.

after reading some posts on his facebook it will be years before he recovers a full range of motion, if at all. He is eldery so its possible he will never recover.

some of you may know that he has been in a court battle with his local zoning board over a private shooting range he built on his property in Rehmeyer hollow in North Hopewell township in York county Pennsylvania. apparently the zoning board determined that his private shooting range that only he uses is a commercial shooting range and cannot be operated. He had a gofundme for the lawsuit that raised a substantial amount of money and he dipped into his retirement for it as well. as far as i know it is going well but is going to be a long process. it'd be a cruel twist of fate to have him win his court battle and never be able to use the property again due to disability.

He is also a writer and has wrote several books under a pseudonym and was the black powder editor and monthly contributor to guns of the old west magazine. He has had articles in combat handguns magazine and black powder cartridge magazine.
