I'm not sure if this belongs in the Mega Rad Gun Thread or the one about Karl Kasarda, even though he is not directly inside of it yet his opinions on the matter are extremely similar. Seems like media has been drawing attention to the Pennsylvania Chapter of the Socialist Rifle Association, as well as more recently here in the Maryland SRA. Seems to be the same repetitive talking points of them calling who is not them "fascist" or "Nazis".

Pretty interesting to see how some of these individuals are getting bucked around by a 5.56 AR-15 like how someone would get shoved by a shotgun with slugs or something. It doesn't help that the thing is some garbage-rod build with an oversized gas port and an underweighted buffer.

He seems very certain he didn't do it and with that high of a bond he may have pissed off a State Trooper in some way. Was he at SHOT?

I can't find any record of his arrest on the Clark County Inmate Search website. May have not been processed yet. Think we'll get the Rekieta bodycam footage or PSR's first?

On second thought, I'd assumed he was at ShotShow, but maybe not.

Depending on the jurisdiction the bond could be indicative of different things. Around my state 2250 would most likely be a dui plus traffic ticket.

It triggers something inside me when I see people try to manipulate the bolt handle (of what looks like and SA80) with their right hand.

I've pointed this out before but most recruits to the British Military will never have handled any sort of firearm before so the idea of having to constantly tilt the rifle to the left, and manipulate the working parts with the left hand becomes completely normal.

Also I'm impressed that a company has simply gotten the core fundamentals of the SA80, in that it's a bullpup AR18. Something that took hundreds of guys to fuck up in the 1980's was done properly by a handful of engineers as a range toy in 2024.

Sterling realized this early on and submitted a cobbled together bullpup AR-18 as a joke. Little did they know that if they had made it actually work they'd have made a better rifle than the SA-80.
