It's perfectly fine to have a chuckle when a dude is revealed to be a massive hypocrite, but the guys actually getting upset about it and saying GT "betrayed" them are retarded. GT isn't their life coach, he's not their friend, he's just a guy on YouTube, and parasocial relationships are unhealthy. If drama like this actually upsets someone, they really need to check themselves. Unsubscribe and move on with your life. I'm not a fan of psychiatrists, but some of these guys ought to seek professional help so they can work through the trauma they clearly have due to dad not being around.

It's most likely that these relationships develop in large part due to the fact that dad was never around. That's where all these phoney role models get their footholds.

I think a lot of people took issue with his supposed faith - or clearly lack thereof - and when the news came out it was a collective "go to hell". Ironically, his most staunch defenders have the worst example of a parasocial relationship with Mike. There's a few morons in the gun twitter community that come to mind.

The guys who threw a fit about it and cried "HOW COULD MIKE BETRAY US???" and the simps who justify Mike's behavior are both terrible. Anyone who supported him but silently jettisoned him from their YT feeds for being revealed as a hypocrite are much more well adjusted than the guys who lost their shit over it on Twitter and Reddit. The simps who call him "flannel daddy" and white knight for him are worse than the guys who don't give a shit about Mike's personal life and watch his videos because they're entertaining. You can tell how fatherless any of these guys are by the level of emotion elicited from them by Mike being revealed to be a serial adulterer with an impregnation fetish.

To me, the whole thing is just a bit funny (with the exception of now TWO sets of kids whose father abandoned them).

I was scrolling through his feed because I saw him typing about the FAL at one point, involving the many changes allowed and the weight/length/part number comparison between it and the M14, but instead I'm finding all of his doomerposting/plugging holes in the Hoover Dam with his fingers. He's going to be on meds at this rate.

I guess I'm not seeing it. Do you mean his posting about being tired of guntube repeating myths about guns? Personally I agree it gets old. I hope he remains unmedicated because I want more 6 hour long response videos to 1 hour long wendigoon videos. Maybe one day he will just do an audiobook of Ezell's books. I need more autistic content and less "today on the range we're shooting sponsored striker fired review gun #2349"

I saw him post documentation of the trails involving the M14 FAL M1Garand comparisons and now all I can find are "The M16 is an AR15" posts and occasional boomer ellipses.
At least he puts equal effort into his videos, I agree.

It's definitely an easy way to engagement bait against the dumbest "pro gun" actually anti gun argument that the AR-15 isn't a military arm and so it shouldn't be banned (implying military arms aren't protected by the 2A). That argument benefits nobody so bait away. Gotta pay off that blue check.

Forgot I muted that guy too. And this one guy who writes like 6 paragraph long tweets saying the most basic shit. May have been they PNW gorilla guy. Tactical wisdom is out there defending these ghetto armed road blocks right now. "I teach roadblocks! 😃" Gun Twitter is such a wasteland of whiplash good and retarded takes by the same people 24/7. I see some of the best information and then drooling takes right after.

He can be a little grating with his memey humor, and he doesn't elucidate certain points very well at times, but I appreciate that he pushes practical training and sells perfectly functional surplus to destitute young guys because when you're poor, a $50 TAP rig with $50 worth of pouches on it is far more functional than a $150 Spiritus micro rig that holds nothing but 3 fucking mags.
