Ammo for almost any caliber will never return to pre-2020 prices. Shit sucks, but that's reality. But in a lot of ways, the guns themselves are better than they used to be, and some of them are very affordable. A typical Bushmaster AR was around $800 in 2012. Adjusting for inflation, that would be about $1100 today. For $1100, you can get an AR that's much nicer than a 2012 Bushmaster. There are a lot of affordable pistols now too. I've seen Ruger's new RXM for as low as $350.

So we kind of live in an upside down world now where the guns themselves are affordable, but ammo to actually shoot them will bleed your wallet dry if you like to shoot often enough.

7.62x39 is just as expensive as 5.56 in Europe now, maybe more expensive in some markets.

If you're European and want an AK, buy a 5,56 one. Chinks, Poles and Serbs build decent copies. Buying a x39 AK without any historical/collection purpose is just insanity, the prices for x39 are roughly.... you can buy 200-250 5,56 for the same price of 50 7,62x39.

Bulgarians make 5,45 AKs and I've seen people buying them, the complete madmen. They have to pray for some forgotten milsurp to descend from heaven or they're out of luck.

He frequently shoots guns on his second channel, he's at least adjacent being very close friends with Brandon Herrera as well with the gaggle of BRC nerds and the now retiring Demolition Ranch. He purchased new tits for his first girlfriend (Wine Operator) post-divorce that appeared on his channel years back, his second (or third? I can't remember the timeline that well) was the Heather Lynn woman that does work with BRC and she does some suggestive photoshoots.
