In all fairness, Paul Harrell cannot be replaced. While imperfect he was modest and open-minded in affirming his experience in an adept manner. A solid part of yesterday's Americana faded with his passing and we can't get that back.

All of these guys except the few who are legitimately rich (like demo ranch) are at best man children who are blowing the money they should be using for a family on NODs and multiple Gucci ARs and NFA items.

A lot of these guntube guys, if you slotted them and sold everything they were carrying- you could go buy a nice used truck. And they'll have multiple setups like that

In some ways I'm quite happy Matt from DemolitionRanch is quitting the scene in order to raise his family. Being around potential porn addicts could ruin his marriage, and I'm very happy for him.

He gets discovered by FocusTripp, he melts down and deletes most of his videos, he then melts down and reacts angrily towards both people clowning on him, and giving him genuine feedback and money (entire livestream revenue).

I remember the first time I looked up the price of Surefire flashlights. It blew my mind. It's a flashlight, FFS. For that kind of money it'd better be able to get off the gun and suck your dick. Yet at the time, literally ALL of the guntubers I was watching insisted that all other flashlights were junk by comparison and you REALLY needed a Surefire.

Only if somebody else is paying the bill, I'm guessing. Though as I look at the prices today, they don't seem quite as outlandish as they did ten years ago. Perhaps they've figured out that they just aren't competitive at those prices?

I'm just never buying another streamlight rifle light. I've had two warrantied and the replacements still have the same issue. I guess I need to just get a new tail cap from a different company or try a oring on the battery. I also thought "oh $200 for a light is a lot" and got the new model Protac instead with the updated candela and that was a mistake. Somehow the bolt cycling loaded or unloaded causes it to go out for a nanosecond. I believe it's the battery moving inside the housing. old models would kick into strobe mode at least it doesn't do that. I would say in my experience just get something nice even if it's overpriced. $100 protac hlx ain't it

Streamlight TLR1's are GTG and will regularly go on sale under $100. They usually have the pistol style end cap on them but always come with a different tail cap that has a pressure pad hookup and a different switch.

I can't get over how often I see videos of someone shooting a handgun that shoots guns for YouTube for a living, and they readjust their grip after shots frequently. Sometimes every shot.

How have you not sorted this out? You shoot more in a month than most people do in a year.

I have a Protac HL-X on one of my ARs. It would flicker during cycling with 2 CR123A batteries, but it does not flicker with a protected button top 18650. I've heard of various fixes for flickering with any battery, like using an o-ring or stretching the tailcap's spring.

I've tried streamlights version of 18650 and another from a different light. Still happens. Even after multiple warranties. Streamlight stopped responding to me. I'll fix it eventually.

The Black Talon nontrovercy set back consumer JHPs 10 years. Fun story, for all of Winchester being very public about refusing to sell LEO ammo on the commercial market, Ranger Bonded is the exact same thing as Winchester Defender. Also Ranger SXT does in fact stand for Same eXact Thing and is just rebranded Black Talon.

might be good for feeding but its worse for effect on target. the flatter the nose and the bigger the meplat the better a slug will work on a animal or person.
