I don't know what the dwell time is on the Sugar Weasel but I would imagine that it's probably longer than that. I'd also like to add that these are assuming a proper length gas system and properly sized gas port, the Sugar Weasel has an adjustable gas block, and if the guy in the video didn't tune that gas block correctly for that kind of shooting it would have potentially drastic effects on the rifle's dwell time. For all we know that thing could have been way overgassed. And judging from the ejection pattern it looks like it very well could have been.

It’s ejecting 3 o’clock until the last two mags. It isn’t uncommon to see it creep forward as the gun heats up.

Nutn had this idea that he could do the boomer meme and just walk up and demand a press badge when everybody (I assume) has to do the same song and dance to get approved, and he got mad, like he tried to skip the line at the post office and got told off by an employee. True, it's also a really bad camera angle. I don't know man I don't want to seem like I'm going to bat for Q here because I'm not but I think that when you have such a drastic outlier it bears looking deeper into potential causes for that outlier.

It's weird to hear him complaining about the lack of a freebee because back then, he continuously went on about how his was a viewer supported channel and you could trust what he said because he wasn't in the pocket of the industry like all those other shill channels.

I helped a guy at the range adjust his gas block on a Sugar Weasel a few months ago and in the instruction manual they were basically saying it'll probably be overgassed to shit because people are retarded and will insist on wet rusty Tula or 2000fps 55gn gun show paper bag reloads. Good on them for saying that instead of just giving you a .250 hole and a punch in the nuts like most other manufacturers are doing these days, and a way to make the gun nice with M855.
Their gas block design sucks dick to adjust tho, it's very outdated and on par with Odin or any of the other 2 screw setups. Riflespeed or the clicky ones like Superlative or the $30 Palmetto knockoff are the way to go if you don't wanna get a suppressor GB and drill it to size yourself.
But what the fuck, 200 rounds IS within the realm of 4th of July activities and for 3k or whatever they want that's unacceptable. A minimum should be 500 with any non-pencil profile just so you've got plenty of safety margin in the thing

Apparently the new bolt carrier design was needed because the previous one failed entirely during testing some time back in September.
