1) that's a deranged tranny

2) they already have a thread here

3) my brother in Christ I pray you didn't jerk off to that

Something that happens sometimes when people get involved in a thread about something they hate is they disengage from the thing itself and end up just relying on the thread to get information. Sometimes, threads reach a critical mass where extremely few of the people in the thread actually follow the original thing, and so the rest of the posters just end up waiting around for someone else to look into the state of things to give them something to talk about. It seems to me that this thread and Karl’s are about at that stage. I haven’t watched anything from guntube (other than FW and C&Rsenal (love y’all btw)) in a while.
Either that, or the guntube sphere is just realy boring these days.
My personal opinion is that guntubing in general is on its way out. Youtube has been ran by foreigners for years, openly despises gun content, and has rigged the website to ensure that there will never be another Demolition Ranch, Garand Thumb, Kentucky Ballistics, etc. ever again. New guntubers are absolutely ass-raped by the algorithm, assuming their videos aren't deleted outright, as are old time but smaller channels. BUFFMAN Range just made a community post about a decade old video of tracers being fired at night was no warning deleted without any reason given, and he has been at it for 16 fucking years already; if Youtube hates the OGs, then new guys don't have a damn chance. Forget making a career out of being a guntuber, even making it into a hobby channel is extremely difficult, especially with them making up rules and changing the rules on a whim, oftentimes retroactively, without any warning whatsoever. Even when guys go out of their way to self-censor out of the ass, like Tools&Targets using "tools" instead of "guns" or "firearms", they still get actively suppressed and punished for the audacity of indulging in the hobby of firearms.

This is true of the internet in general, which despises America and firearms deeply, and all but bans any sort of meaningful content creation around them. Every attempt at an alternative website for gun content has failed largely due to the creators wanting a subscription fee so you get the same censored dogshit you get off of Jewtube. This is why when you guys do discuss someone, it's some literal who tranny with 1500 followers on Instagram, or the tenth screenshot of Garand Thumb balding.

I just don't think there's enough going on in guntubing to sustain a lolcow esque gossip thread about all the negative aspects of guntubing. Frankly, there will be even less going on moving forward. I doubt Matt from Demolition Ranch is the only retirement you will be seeing amongst the bigger channels.

Not to mention no big name GunTuber is willing to start a second channel on Rumble or Odysee even if it is just a mirror channel. They go to retarded, boomer-lite online sites like Pepperbox because money but they will never have reach like the former. Ian has complained that no one watches his Rumble channel but he also doesn't give them a reason too and refuses to keep it up to date even though it will help grow the platform.

At least with Odysee you can use it to load schematics, instructions, and files for 3D printing guns and have assembly videos. If someone like GarandThumb or Brandon Herrera was desperate for content, they could just go down the 3D printed gun rabbit hole but of course they won't.

It's sad, SmartTVs killed any hope for YouTube competitors by replacing set top boxes which would give the user more customization for applications and services.

I remember seeing someone claim that because the characters in Umamusume are based on real racing horses and the real life owners of those horses are usually wealthy and powerful businessmen, often with shady connections, a lot of hentai artists/companies are terrified of making porn of them. Not because of the usual copyright issues, but because they might get their hands chopped off by the Yakuza.
From my understanding that's the meme version, and that meme really pisses off some people. Cygames just wants to be able to stop someone from making something that pisses off a horse owner enough to pull the name rights from Cygames. The rules have never stopped people from making porn, it just means sometimes Cygames might DMCA it. The rules also apply to stuff like political messages, but I've never heard of them going after someone for drawing a picture of a horse girl saying "Free Palestine."

Let's stop talking about anime horsegirls and move to a more serious topic: Which Guntuber will be the first to get a Gamersupps affiliate code, will his custom flavor be called "Horse Semen" as a high-level Glock reference, and what kind of scantily-clad anime wench will be on his custom Coomer Cup?

We did Vidme, Utreon, and had an Odysee updated until last year. The effort was never worth it. Each of these platforms struggled to digest our uploads and required it's own personal attention. Because Utreon competed with Patreon we could at least use it as a spun-up backup though.

As for guntube, it depends on the kind of content. The bulk of it is either product reviews or political comments. I think this much is currently a river bed. Sure there are various personalities to give shape and texture but the structure is largely the same: capture the attention and try to get it to flow in x direction. This is largely as it ever was but people are less spendy and feel confident about 2A. Since consumer demand isn't flowing, the river looks dry. The next panic will create a spring thaw and it will seem lively again.

A lot of the previous flow was from new gun owners. They have now matured enough to no longer be dazzled by basic opinions. For those already rooted, I am sure it has become repetitive. The way ahead is to either find a new tributary (FRTs) or to work with a controlled reservoir (gun history, previously not done comparative testing, etc)

Yeah, a big part of it is that all the big names are complete sellouts that typically won't do anything unless they are getting paid. Even just showing some love to alternatives is too hard for them because they want to get paid, but the money isn't there for alternatives so they just write them off. Little guys can't compete on Youtube since they aren't grandfathered in, and none of the big names will crosspost to alternatives so that makes them dead zones if a new channel tries to use them to take off. It makes for a vicious cycle. Also, maybe this is just confirmation bias, but it seems to me that a lot of the big guntubers only ever collab with other big guntubers, and largely ignore the smaller channels that are trying to find their feet. They also are eager to capitulate to people who hate them, and aren't willing to explore alternatives or rock the boat because they are sellouts. Seems to me that most of them, if not all, are more than happy to cuck and pull the ladder up behind them so long as the paycheck keeps clearing.

It reminds me of when I followed Better Bachelor to Locals. He said it would be uncensored and he would upload some extra stuff to justify the entry fee. He then proceeded to upload the same censored content, and there weren't any subscriber special videos, because both of those would have taken extra effort without pulling in extra money. Obviously I didn't stick around long, because why would I pay extra for a worse experience than what I get on Youtube? It's the same for these shitty paid guntuber alternatives.

I wish it wasn't like this, but I think the time for guntubers to rally and try to have meaningful alternatives was about a decade ago. At this point, it's obvious that the established guys are just going to ride it as long as they can while everyone else is left in the dust. Hence why I don't think there's really enough to justify this thread getting a bunch of discussion all the time.

How often is Garand Thumb going to cheat on his wife? There's just not enough drama to justify an "industry" drama thread.

He says as post #16,351 in a thread dedicated to industry drama with occasional tangents and channel recommendations. You're describing typical eceleb behavior, the most trafficked on-topic threads on this forum revolve around popular ecelebs. You dont have to read it, clearly other people are interested or else we wouldn't be on page 818.

All the big YouTube channels are boring, and the content feels forced or stale. YouTube was great when it was just people sharing their hobbies for free, and the smallest channels are still where the real
lol cow
gold is.

Black Dragon media for example. An American nigger that larps as a Chinese/ The ukraine special operator.

I wonder what his nickname would be among the Azov men.

He's a legit faggot. His videos on Rumble have a 50% to over 100% views-to-subscribers ratio. That's fucking outstanding. His response? Not post a video there for two years.

Sorry, his response is also to censor flags and content on YouTube while hopping from one failed pay-platform to another.

We did Vidme, Utreon, and had an Odysee updated until last year.
I miss watching you on Odysee.

BUFFMAN Range said his deleted video was restored, which pretty much just confirms my suspicion that all of youtube "moderation" is some shitty algorithm arbitrarily deleting things based off of vibes and random chance. I can't imagine trying to run a channel while dealing with that kind of bullshit.

Clearly you did not keep up with the conversation I was engaged in before sharing your opinion. I lurk this thread and I am fine with the subject matter of the thread; I was referring to the other guy throwing a tantrum because the conversation temporarily shifted to an anime game related to one of the guntubers being discussed. Expecting the thread to be guntuber drama all the time is dumb, because there are not enough guntubers of note to sustain nothing but drama discussion, hence why it veered into something tangentially related.

You should read the conversation before sharing your opinion on said conversation.

Also while this is a thread for various guntubers, it's not required for it to always be drama or whatever. It's an off-topic thread where we can for instance discuss Karl Kucksarda floundering or have memorials for the late and great Paul Harrell, or talk about how thin @Othais be lookin lately.

New Gunbelievable video on a shitty South African ghetto blaster, back when the nation still had something resembling industry.
